We arrived around 23:45 for a two nights stay arrived.. after checking in we proceed to the given bedroom, I was really astonished..the room was appalling. bath/taps/toilet dirty,filthy chairs with dirt/dust,cobwebs on/behind television,bathroom mirror had cobwebs running from the ceiling etc.. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who want to have a pleasant stay.. when I asked for the duty manager ,she kindly offer me 10percent off our bill , along with a bottle of prosecco , which I had refuse.. shes also offer breakfast, which we was already inclusive of.. at no point was we offer a change of room etc.. she acknowledge the issue I had etc with no dispute, but explained there was limited to what she could do.. I said to her that I dont want nothing free or complimentary, except a full refund on my 1st night etc.. she had to wait for the general manager, who didnt come on shift until after 3pm today I was told.. at 16:00 i had heard nothing and so i called the hotel letting them know am still in the area to be seen and to show the images and videos to the general manager Chris..I was told to wait 30 minutes for him to call me back,he was dealing with a customer.. the general manager chris who then had called me ,came on the phone was quite rude and adopted ,telling me he had just check the room and yes there was merely some dust and I was over exaggerating etc.. refusing to listen ,told me he was busy and had a function to attend to, I told him no problem I will be coming in the hotel to see him.. remember his member of staff , came into the room and acknowledged all and had emphasize that it is not acceptable and agreed with me..I am now covered in rash and is itching all cover and will proceed in seeing my doctor
