It is with regret that you are unhappy with the parts supplied recently. Despite our best efforts, problems with orders do arise occasionally and we have full back up available via our sales team to deal with this. It is therefore disappointing that you chose to publish your thoughts publicly without contacting us first directly to give us the opportunity to help. It should also be noted that you have not responded to an email we sent to you after reading this review.
Your first complaint is for a Lumenition replacement optical eye OS50. The manufacturer has confirmed that their wiring has not changed and it is not a complaint we have received before. We do not believe there is a fault with this part. If you need to, the manufacturer is happy for you to contact them directly at support@autocar-electrical.com.
Secondly you mention the side entry distributor cap. Yes it does have a small bit of flash on the bottom where it has been ejected from the moulding. It takes seconds to remove this with a sharp knife. Apologies if this was not up to standard.
Thirdly you have a Lucas rotor arm which you say is now sloppy. We have unsuccessfully tried to replicate this issue using stock items and we are unaware of previous quality issues regarding this part. Without having the parts to inspect, we can only apologise and put this down to a one-off failure.
