“WARNING STAY WELL CLEAR
I purchased my vehicle on 5th April 2022.After one week of purchasing my vehicle a very loud knocking noise was coming from the front of the car,
I informed DAVE WARD via email and a phone call and he told me he would find a local garage for the car to be inspected.
After a couple of weeks DAVE WARD then told me to find my own local garage for the car to be looked at.
I took my car to my local garage and paid for the car to be inspected for the faults.
i then emailed DAVE WARD with the parts required which were new front brake discs, pads and new suspension arms, DAVE WARD told me he would order the parts from his supplier, he also advised me to get my local garage to fix the vehicle and then invoice CVF for the labour once the car was fixed.
After several emails and over 30 phone calls and lots of excuses i finally received the parts, this took 5 weeks for the parts to arrive when we all know you can get next day delivery.
once the car was fixed i sent DAVE WARD an email thanking him for the parts and that i had attached the invoice for the labour. 9 weeks later i have still not been paid, i have sent several emails and rang the office well over 100 times, When i have actually managed to speak to someone it has been the receptionist who always tells me DAVE WARD is either to busy to speak to me or he is on holiday.
The lies i keep being told from the reception lady and DAVE WARD are unbelievable.(Yes jason we have received your invoice and it is with our accounts department, oh really we thought you had already been paid)....It has now been nearly 10 weeks since i sent DAVE WARD the invoice, i have called well over 100 times sent emails and nobody responds or now answers my calls.
I have also sent 2 letters via recorded delivery to DAVE WARD which have been signed for but i still have not had a response.
Buying a car is supposed to be an exiting time but this has turned in to the worst nightmare and stressful few months.
I sent a letter via recorded delivery warning them to pay the agreed invoice otherwise i would go down the legal route.
I HAVE NOW STARTED COURT PROCEEDINGS
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY TRUST ME YOU WILL BE VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND LET DOWN.

“Absolute shambles of a company, have to laugh at there audacity, honest people trade cars in on good faith that they will sort there end out settling finance obviously isn’t there strong point … traded a car in the end of February… still waiting on the car being settled while being charged every month and to add insult to injury the car I purchased off them still has outstanding finance and the previous finance company are trying to recover the car… be back for my previous vehicle… see you soon LOL”
“Lied about HPI, now owe us £54k and refuse to pay!!
In 2016 we purchased a car for £32,500 from Car Van Finance Ltd (“CVF”), trading in our car, which we owned outright, and taking out a personal loan for the remaining half owed. During the course of the purchase we did an HPI check online and it flagged that there was some sort of outstanding finance on the car, but the check gave no further details. We queried this with CVF and they told us that it was simply a stocking loan, and it would automatically clear upon payment for the car. They told us this by email, and also added it to the invoice so that we had it officially in writing. This turned out to be a lie. A few months after we purchased the car, VW Finance’s solicitors sent us a very aggressive letter demanding we return the car, which they still owned. It turned out that a former Premiership footballer had financed the car and owed them the outstanding finance. CVF knew this, but instead of paying the funds to VW Finance, they instead claim to have paid an unknown third party, all without our knowledge. In April 2017, VW seized the car from us. During this very stressful time, all CVF kept telling us was that they were ‘sorting it out’, but of course they were not. They failed to refund us, failed to even apologise for their deceit, and we were left with no choice but to take legal action against them. In July 2018 we obtained a CCJ against CVF, which they failed to pay. They appealed against the CCJ, leaving us with further legal costs, and in January 2019 the court heard the case, rejected their appeal and awarded us additional legal costs.
CVF now owe is around £54,000 but they continue to ignore the debt and refuse to pay. I only rated one star because zero isn’t an option on this website!”
