I should not by no means have been given a loan
My load was for £500
Paid back £2067
+ £160- £80 February, £80 March
+ £90 late fee
With £300 arrears still on the account
This company will do anything to fob you off and then lie in their final decision letter when you take your case to the ombudsman
I have all the documentation and proof required to challenge Car Cash Point in order to retrieve my money back I repaid what I borrowed over 4*’s over even during the pandemic and battling with depression, being a lone parent, recovering from a crash Car Cash Point did not care they act on the basis of mere and utter greed that is their only objective in mind!

My partner Sarah Powell had a shocking time with these rogues.They are the most horrible company on the planet.They bullied her when she was sick with covid .One of the staff members called Hollie is a nasty ,uncaring person who even reduced her too tears with her constant threats.if you fall behind with your payments,they ask for medical proof ,bank statements etc etc.We only borrowed £800 but by the time we paid it off it was over £2500 .
When you pay off the loan, they take so long to send your documents back and remove the marker from the car. She called several times and yet extremely rude and very unpleasant.
My honest opinion of this is avoid at all costs .
No matter how desperate you are please look at this company’s reviews first as that’s what my partner should have done .
They should be investigated as I don’t think there services are fair .
So AVOID CARCASH Point!!!

“I really really want to advice anyone who is struggling for money no matter how bad things get do not turn to car cash point!! Please there is always another way! I made several complaints to them and have always been fobbed off with a reply not relevant at all or they say call the office to discuss but no one can discuss!!! I have since paid back my loan in full - however during the most difficult time of my life suffering from depression and financial difficulties they couldn’t care less!!! “Firstly let me tell you now that the FCA are investigating this firm for Malpractice. Do not under any circumstances use this firm to borrow any money. I shall explain. I borrowed funds prior to the Corona Virus Pandemic as I only wanted a short loan. When the Pandemic hit my business was forced to close so I had no income. By Law they had to offer 6 months of deferrals which they did but due to the new Lockdown in December I explained that my business had been forced to close and that I would make reduced payments until the lockdown ended. They said no and gave me 5 days to pay or they said they would take my car away. They said they would send people to my house and that they were ex police and that they would break my legs if I did not give them my car. I was scared and called the police. They said that they cannot threatened you with violence. My wife and I are in fear of our lives. We have a 4 year old and cannot sleep. I called the Financial ombudsman and have filed a complaint. They said that the company must respond but they have not. They just use threats of physical violence which is vile and disgusting. This is a Mafia operation.”
