“I recently received my SHM mini box set of The Rolling Stones "Tattoo You" I have several other versions including a previous SHM version from 2011.
I selected the 2 disc version but I was most interested in how this release would compare with others of one of my favorite albums. This set is actually a remix taken from the master tapes.
No need to worry as the remastering/remix of the tapes has been conducted with great authenticity and we now have the best version available in my opinion.
My previous Japan CD Blue Spec was my benchmark but has now been surpassed by this release.
The open soundstage and the smooth handling of the upper frequencies is amazing with not a hint of harshness. Some versions of this recording can be bass light but in this case CD Japan have provided just the right balance of depth and impact.
SHM materials are the key here in that they do have a very beneficial affect on the overall sound and smoothness of the discs.
The packaging as usual in mini-album form is flawless.
I also find that CD Japan provide their quality products at most reasonable pricing and at very good value for money.
My collection of SHM's is now 400+ and rising.”

“As of writing this, I have placed nearly 50 orders through CDJ with no major issues to note. They've always been quick to reply to any emails about orders and also let me know as soon as there are any changes due to supply status, release changes, etc... The only issue I've ever had was due to the manufacturer making the package extremely large, thus drastically changing the shipping charge. CDJ emailed me about the issue along with the new amount and gave me the option to continue or cancel the order because of the increase.
CDJapan has always had the best prices for the items I've been looking for (CDs, BDs, books, and figures). There are about 4 shops from Japan I use for shopping, but CDJ has always been my go-to choice.
They also typically offer 3-5 different shipping options covering low-price surface travel, mid-price 1-2 week EMS, and 3-5 day FedEx/DHL. Options to fit everyone's budget and needs.”

I was trapped with JPU Records of London before I found CD Japan. I wish u to know JPU is fine but run out of the CD'S fast. CD Japan does not run our as fast and the proxy service saves me.
