“Very Poor Service My wife and I visited Champion hot tubs ltd and met up with the boss Owen who appeared to be a really friendly helpful guy. We chose a Vita Joli hot tub discounted to £7k. We paid £700 deposit. Owen informed we would need and electrician to fit a 32 amp supply and he could help refer a local guy the cost of around £300 to £400. Owen also stated he would complete a site survey before the end of the week. Owen also recommended local crane company as we would need a crane for delivery. Everything run smoothly at first with the electrician contacting us and arrangements were made to fit the supply on Tuesday 10/8/21 that happed yesterday. The first issue was Owen failed to carry out the site survey as promised so we called him up the next week and he apologised stating he was too busy last week and would call during this week which he did. He confirmed we would need a crane lift so we arranged this for Thursday 12/8/21 the day of delivery. On Sunday 8/8/21 Owen rang informing our tub had sprung a leak and needed a new pump he said he has no idea how long it would take and the delivery would have to be cancelled. We cancelled the crane but the electrical work went ahead. Owen promised to ring us to inform how long the part would take but one again failed to call.We called him yet again and he suggested a refund of our deposit as he was going to keep the tub for his showroom and he would not be able to supply us until September/ October. We did obtain a refund. The level of service provided by Champion Hot Tubs has been well below the standard of service one would expect from a local business. We have paid for a 32 amp supply with no tub to connect.”
