I got an electric car through the Motability scheme, Who only deal with BP pulse, Like a lot of other people on this survey, I asked for a survey, as I am NOT an electrician, but failed to get a reply, other than emails demanding more information ! I took and sent them photos of everything to do with my electrics, but still they wanted MORE information, so in the end I complained to Motability, and I finally got a date for the survey, the man came, carried out his survey, and I assume sent all the information to BP, I then got a date for the installation, which was carried out by a contractor very professionally, neat and tidy, who explained everything I needed to know, I have been told by BP Pulse that I need a code to access there app??? as it is impossible to log into it without it?? but I dont know how long that is supposed to take, the unit was installed on the 10/05/2021?

The application process was lengthy & complicated. The company asked questions I did not understand. Why don’t they simply send out a guy to survey the property to save time & frustration? Mine was a free selling point through Mercedes, so it was probably some cheap deal through the company & therefore keeping the Costs down. I had to have an isolation switch fitted at my own cost which was annoying. The actual fitting was professionally done & at the moment is working well!

The installation was carried out by a very knowledgeable and likeable engineer and spent time with me afterwards to ensure I understood exactly how the system works

After a few problems with Electricity supply ,the unit now works fine. the engineer who came the 2nd time was brilliant ,very knowledgeable and very professional. the only problem I have now is how to set a timer into the system to charge the car at an optimum time .I have seen an app called Smartcharge ,but i dont know how to make it work .Can you help please ????

I had my charger fitted via Mercedes offer. My app scheduling has stopped working and I have spoken to their team multiple times and every time they assure me that someone will be in touch with me within 48 hours and I am still waiting, I have followed this through with emails which have been ignored and never received a reply. Other issue for me was that the company did earth bonding under my flooring and I asked for pictures of their work because it’s not visible and once again in spite of my multiple calls and emails and their promises nothing has happened. I don’t know who to take it further for any action? Absolutely appalling customer experience.

BP pulse the worst customer service I have experienced. I downloaded app and asked for opening of account and they took 7 days to accept and yet I haven't got the card so I can use on their charging station. Tried to call but only music. Now writing letter to CEO to refund my 40 pounds and cancel my membership as I don't think they want to do business.

The application process is overly complex, and customer service is dreadful and fragmented. Can only deal with by email but replies can take 2 weeks. Would not recommend to anyone.

Awful service but really nice installers.I had an appointment for an install but they failed to give the installer the charging unit so he just did the rest of the work and said they will call me the next day with an appointment and they didn’t.sent emails with. I reply’s.two weeks later I called and explained and was transferred to the wrong department then to the wrong department again still with no answers.complete and utter shambles of a company.

Very pleasant experience from initial application to final install. Team at BP did all the heavy lifting to make the application easy, customer service was faultless. The install team did a first rate job and left our home in a spotless condition. Very impressed with the engineer who explained the functionality and stayed with us whilst we initiated our first charge. Well done BP and associates.

i have to say that i think BP pulse have been a bit clever on reviews. i have just cancelled my order for an EV charger with BP after months of dysfunctional communication . if you look at trust pilot it give a more realistic view of my experience https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.chargemasterplc.com

Absolutely amazing service, great product, fast and friendly installation by an engineer who takes pride in there work, I can not recommend BP Homecharge enough to anyone looking for at buying an EV.

I would strongly advise anyone considering a charger to go elsewhere. We only continued with BP Pulse as it was part of our Mercedes purchase. Customer service is non existent, failure to respond to emails, denial receiving photos etc and a process that took 3 months to have the charger installed. To top it off the charger has stopped working a week after installation and so far no one has responded after reporting the fault, although they still have a few hours left to respond from their quoted 48 hour time frame. How are you supposed to run an electric vehicle without a home charger if both the equipment and the supplier are unreliable.

Four weeks after I was first in touch with BP Chargemaster, I am still waiting to hear about a date for installation. The customer service is dire - takes days to respond. The info you have to send in online is extensive and hard to find as a lay person. My car is now on my drive with no charging point and no indication of when I might get one. Seriously considering pulling the order and starting again with another company.

Having this charger is AMAZING. It’s reassuring to know that it’s outside your house to charge your car over the night ready for in the morning. The guy who fitted the charger was very professional and even turned up early, cleaned up after himself and let me know everything that was going on. It only took 2 hours to fit also which was a bonus.

I would give 5* for the installer who was fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble. Spent time with me to work out where best to place the charger and took time after installation to talk through how it works. The initial service for the application process was poor and took me chasing on a daily basis to get an installation date some 6 weeks after first applying and 3 weeks after getting my EV. Every time I rang I was told a different story it was so frustrating. I’d give this element of the service 3*. Finally the unit itself and the app that you should be able to programme to start and finish at specific times (to take advantage of cheaper electrify charges) well quite frankly it doesn’t work. Not sure how to fix and I hope someone reads this review and gives me a contact number to call to try and fix.
