“Terrible company, waited months for delivery. Don't answer emails or telephone calls promptly.....forever chasing them. 0 customer service. Then went into liquidation so lost our money. Really cross to see they've opened up now as Charlested Home. A joke, do not do business with them. Feel totally cheated”

“DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Ordered from them in December for my sisters Christmas present, it never came. We then got told the product was out of stock so my sister put in more money for another item. That never came and then we got a letter saying they were in £300,000 worth of debt and to contact our bank to get our money back. I emailed into the new owners who promised they would get a new item out to me to say sorry.. this never came.. absolute liars”

“PLEASE AVOID!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WON'T DELIVER/REFUND CharlesTed is in liquidation and haven't shipped items to customers or refunded money. However, they are now setting up CharlesTed Home offering customers who they haven't delivered items to or refunded money 50% off items and "prompt" delivery. Amusing since they made me wait months for an item of furniture (which was never delivered). Major concerns this is another scam and they will try and take money off more unwilling customers so PLEASE PLEASE AVOID and don't spend your money with them. They look like they have lovely items for sale but the reality is you will never see the items. Please see the reviews here and elsewhere.”

“Awful. Waiting months for 2 individual orders. Asked for a refund- only refunded the cheapest item and not the >£600 items I had wanted to cancel. Then said the vase I had also ordered has been discontinued and not even available, but they hadn’t contacted me to say this and would have kept my money for it having already paid. I asked to escalate my concerns and was told no. Customer service is non existent and looks like this small business is going to fail because of poor service, failure to have stock and late refunds. Lots of bad reviews recently. I wouldn’t trust them or order from them again. If the owner is aware of her customer service team attitude then that is even worse.”

“Appalling service . Don’t touch this company ! I ordered two items in November and they have just sent a small bowl which was one of the items as I said I would take the matter further . They have had the interest on my money for months. No refund given on that . They have now refunded the money for a lamp although I said I still wanted the item. There were many bad reviews on line where customers were waiting months. I suggested they stopped advertising for more business until they could honour their previous commitments. Shame as the products look lovely .”

“I recently ordered both a Sarah console table and a set of 4 fern prints. The console table arrived without any problems and it looks great, I love it! I had a problem with the pictures but it was resolved quickly and without question. Kate and her team were very professional when dealing with my issue. Can’t wait to buy more from them!”

“Bought the Pale Fir Parquet Sideboard; it’s stunning! I am so pleased with it. I was away when the sideboard arrived for delivery but CharlesTed stored it for me and arranged delivery to suit me. Summer was particularly helpful and kept in constant communication with met. I will certainly by again from here.”

“Bought two terracotta lamps Although there was an issue with the initial order a delay in shipment from Spain when I emailed they were prompt to update me with progress. When they came I was so pleased with them they look fabulous so will definitely buy from them again they have gorgeous items😊”
