“The delivery was fast and the item was packaged well and arrived in good condition. The item was described as solid and veneer oak bookcase. I'm not sure which parts are solid oak and maybe the description should be reviewed by seller as I would suggest that it's more veneer than solid. That said it looks lovely in my newly decorated livingroom.”

Hello there. The side panels on your item are oak veneer however the frame in its entirety is indeed solid oak. I'm pleased that you like the item. :)

“From ordering to delivery Chiltern Oak have proved to be the best for real oak furniture. Well made products that are very competitively priced (less than half of other retailers for similar products). I recommend this company, their customer service is excellent and definitely deserves praise. The delivery drivers are helpful and polite and unpack and place your furniture. A great company”

“Ordered a TV unit from Chiltern and turned up within a week! the delivery men were really good. We had just cleaned our carpet and was worried they were going to walk all over it when bringing the unit in, but without me even asking they both took their shoes off before they came in. Very pleased with the item so far :)”

“Thumbs up to the customer service team. They spotted an error I had made when ordering which saved delivery/return of the incorrect item. The bedroom furniture I received is a good quality and I was really pleased with the white gloves service where your furniture is built for you for a small fee. Add to that really competitive prices and it's a winner!”
