“Feltham cineworld is filthy and staff are completely without passion or motivation. Everything is always late and waiting is uncomfortable. Will avoid from now on.”
“Issue with the online booking system which reverted to current day and booked the wrong day and time for the show. Immediately started on the tortuous journey to try and resolve with a faceless customer service email loop which was completely ineffective.
The cinema themselves has been disempowered to help customers and revert to the email system which doesn't sort out urgent queries (or even resolve at all - see below!). By far the worst customer service I have ever encountered from any organisation.
The only saving grace was a wonderful customer service guy called Ben at Gloucester who helped us out - he's too good for Cineworld in all honestly as the inherent customer service in the company is non-existent.
Eventually after 2 days I received a pointless email stating that tickets can't be changed. I'm sure an algorithm on the website defaults to booking the closest showing when using the mobile version - there are too many similar complaints to mine for the issue to be user error!
This is unethical given their lack of customer service and after care in case of booking issues.”
“Yet again, For the second week I try to book a film in Braintree and no wheelchair spaces at the back in any screens, tried last week and it was the same. Obviously they are broken but why so long to get them fixed. always so long, try using a different company for them. I pay extra each month to use Braintree Cinema for the spaces at the back as in a wheelchair and can not sit close at the front. I think you need to refund every wheelchair user when this happens.
But to add they have stopped customer service telephone service. Time to cancel and not bother with the hassle. Have gone down so much.”
“Pathetic experience in joining the membership. You can't just do it from a mobile. After following the entire steps when you get to the final stage to approve the payment, it just takes you back from where you started. Such a crappy system!”
“Bought and paid for a Cineworld plus account in July 2021 which is suppose to last for 12 months only to discover in June 2022 its dissapeared off my account. After contacting Cineworld they inform me my account hasn't migrated to their new website, I assumed they would simply reistate it but no they refused to do this, they also won't refund my money. Instead they had the nerve to try and fob me off with a £8 food voucher instead! They've literally stolen my money as I've paid for a service which they're not offering me, what a complete con! I expected more from what I thought was a reputable company. ICT problems can be fixed but customer faith can't be.”
“Cineworld Sheffield is AWFUL!!!
Sadly this venue has been on a steep decline the past several years.
The experience you get is not worth the hefty price tag you pay, the Venue is in dire need of refurbishment due to being able to hear the movies in the screen next door more often than not which is very distracting.
Theres also regular incidents usually at the weekend where young teens will be allowed to run amok causing anti social behaviour in the corridors aswell as sometimes running into screenings to cause mischief.
The staff are lazy and beyond useless when it comes to bringing any problems to their attention, upon which they are usually hesitate to act upon and refuse to rectify any complaints about incidents
It is a shame how poor the standards of this venue have dropped and i would not recommend to anyone unless you enjoy being distracted watching films with people constantly talking or using their phones throughout the performance”
“Crawley cinema , female assistant was very sweet a fantastic customer service young female assistant gave me a free concession as my blue light card would not work. Not all staff seem as efficient.
Prices far too high for confectionery & drinks. Shame as cinema used to be good value treat.”
“The toilets smelt terrible, the staff were not at all helpful and we had to pay twice the cost of the local independent cinema, needless to say it will be our last visit”
