“My son and I enjoyed a fun 2 hours with Felipa doing the beginners pottery throwing class. There were 8 of in the class and she initially showed us how to produce a simple pot. We then had the chance to produce 3 pots ourselves of whatever design we could each manage. Felipa continued to guide and support us throughout. You get 1 pot of your choice painted glazed and fired and you can get more for a further £7.50 each. We really enjoyed our time and I’d definitely do this again.”
“I took my mum to Denna's textured ring-making workshop and it was honestly such a lovely experience. The setting was gorgeous (Highly recommend if in Woolwich for a lovely coffee and food) and felt really calm and inspiring, and Denna herself was so welcoming, patient and great fun.
She guided us through every step of the process from sizing to hammering and adding texture with clear demonstrations and plenty of hands-on time, which made it feel really accessible even if you’ve never made jewellery before. Learning about the craft while actually making something was such a treat.
The best part is that my mum and I absolutely love our rings. They’re completely unique and feel so special knowing we made them ourselves. A wonderful experience, beautifully run – I’d highly recommend it, especially as a meaningful thing to do with someone you love!”
