“Run, don't walk away from these guys. I spoke to Frank W. in the San Francisco Bay Area (local to me) and he was very reassuring. That was the last time i spoke to anyone who know how to speak conversational English. The website was a joke. They may know the technical side of WP but they couldn't get arrested for possession of marketing/ad skills; I had to create all the content and that's not my strength. I received calls every day to upsell me on: chat, hosting, etc. Eventually, i found a company in Ft. Collins, CO who is excellent.”
“They promised a working Website in 48 hours. I don't think they could wipe their a** in 48 hours. I paid them in full, up front, for 4 Web sites. They could not get anything right, and tiny revisions took 5 to 8 days. We worked on only one Website for a couple of months. I finally gave up on them, and told them I wanted them to transfer what they did have from their workspace to a live URL, and they said that would cost $650.00. What a bunch of scammers. Please, stay away.”
“So I ordered a Website from these guys in December and everything started out great and then in January they just stopped working. Im not sure if they are out of business or a scam but I don't have a website and no more communications and I lost money.”
“I hired Code Nest to build a website for my company on the 5th of Nov, gave them a deposit of half the amount of what it would cost to build it, l had a deadline to reach by the 7th of Dec, and I ask the guys if my expectations was unattainable by the 7th of Dec and they assured me they could do it. Two weeks into the job a guy name Joe Lewis who I was working with said he could make my logo pop, and he explained how he was going to do it and it sounded good, so I told him to proceed with his proposal, he also told me that it would cost an additional 300 to do it, the way he explained how it would work I thought it would be worth the cost, so I agreed & we were going forward or so I thought. A couple of days later he ask did I want buy some an analytics pkg or something for 1000 dollars, I told him no and I wanted to see some progress on the site. We are now at the end of December and what he showed me on my logo that was to make the site POP failed miserably, I’m running out of time, and I am upset that I’m paying all this money in and I don’t have nothing to show for it from these guys! They sent me a page that had nothing to do with my site( I had to send them a story board on how it needs to look), so in steps Jason Walter, he wanted to redo to whole contract and step up the pace on the site, so instead of something that would make my logo pop, he changed the whole logo, I wasn’t happy with it, and in my mind I would change it back later once the site went up! Once he got finished the logo he wanted to charge me another 1000 to do work on my behalf at the US Patent office, I did the work myself for a quarter of the money! After that I didn’t hear from these guys for two weeks, it is now the end of January. They sent me a note say they were closing their offices due to COVID and would contact me in 24-48 hrs. I tried calling them no response! I told them this was not working out and I like to have my money refunded or I would have to get my attorneys involved, no response.
Buyer Beware with these guys, they are not honest, they over promise and under deliver! I would never refer these guys even as a joke to no one! Code Nest is trash!”
“Here's my story.. I started with Code Nest in Sept last year.. Before I paid my money I told Ben I knew nothing about this process and I would need someone to walk me through the process of removing and uploading my paintings. I was told I would have that available for me, but when my website went live 3 months later in December, I was emailed a WP Pepper manual to read. I was on my own and the paintings they uploaded for me to see how my site will look are still there and I can't do a thing about it. I can't sell them because it's laid out wrong. I hired a local company to help with my site and they say it looks like something is wrong with the WP Bakery.. Every time I try to make a change I go to a page that says "Error Page Not available" Still no help from Code Nest. In fact Daniel made it a point to say they don't give refunds even though the website says 100% money back guarantee. Then he emailed me and said once it went live I lost that option.. Hind Sight I call it now.. I will continue to make my case until my site is actually running as promised..or a refund of some type is made to me..”
“I ordered a website from them for $1400. I gave them a current site of mine to see my products and prices plus the about us, service conditions and other data with the instruction to build a better looking site. The fact is these people do not speak or understand the english language very well and I don't speak Urdu. I got a clone of my site. Everyone there has two first names. like Sam Micheal. I had Joe Joe who kept trying to charge me more for SEO wording for another $1000 and have them host my site for even more than I already pay ( I already have great hosting). I finally gave up after 2 months of them trying to get it right and signed off on the site so it could go live and activate my shopping cart. it took another 2 weeks of them again trying to sell me their web hosting and I still have to fix the shopping cart as it will let sales go without shipping charges.”
“They have held on to my money since June. It is now October. I have a half-built nonfunctioning website. They will not answer my email or phonecalls. When they do answer, they put me on hold until I hang up. If you have money to flush down a toilet, contact Joe Lewis, Alex Garret or Jason Walter. Of course these are not their real names -- just guises to get into your credit card or checking account. I have asked them many many many times to give me instructions on how to complete the website myself, but there is too much money to be made by scamming the public.I guess my money is not green enough or my skin is too black. I do plan on receiving a refund.”
