“My first experience with Cohorted was the May beauty box which I was really excited to get my hands on as I heard about the rush for orders and fast sell out. The box itself is fab and totally worth the money. The only let down has been the customer service as my box did not arrive when scheduled and I had to chase a number of times before I received a reply so by the time my box arrived my hype had subsided somewhat. However I have placed an order for June's beauty box so hopefully this time around the same won't happen again. As I said the products are great and excellent value for money and would def recommend for that reason, hence I'm hoping my service experience was just a one off!”

“I ordered two boxes from you this month as a friend and I wanted to try your boxes as we had heard great reviews! One arrived, one didn't so I emailed you to let you know and I didn't even get a response! Just a refund into my account! As a first time user this has put me off of using you again, it wouldn't have if your customer service was better and you had even just acknowledged me!”

“Poor product service and poor customer service! Yes the beauty box itself contains some very nice items, but if you can't get a hold of one then what's the point? I've tried several times now to buy one of these boxes, what I find odd is that even if when I manage to add one to my basket by the time I get to checkout - which takes about half an hour because the website keeps breaking down - the product is sold out! How can a product that is sitting in your basket be sold to someone else at the same time? Clearly there is an issue with how the website is run or perhaps the company is trying to "big up" their product by creating some sort of frenzy when actually they only have a few boxes? I've contacted the customer service team a couple of times about this but I never get a reply. They clearly are not ready to deal with any sort of demand so save yourself some time and go spend the £20 on a nice lipstick that you will actually be able to get a hold of. I would rate this 0 starts if I could!”

“Wow... This was the box that was utterly & totally worth the wait! I squealed with delight when I opened it!! It had a real luxe feeling when I opened it & the contents didn't disappoint!! It was a long time coming & I didn't get any response to my 2 emails asking when dispatch day was. But all was forgiven when my gorgeous box arrived!! The only worry I have is being able to pre-order all future boxes. Your website is a victim of your success!! Made me smile despite being poorly today!!”

“I have pre bought 2 beauty boxes, so I am unable to review the product! However, pre ordering the beauty boxes was rather fraught. The website crashed, and many people were experiencing issues. The twitter feed was somewhat delayed in acknowledging the problem and then assured customers it would be sorted in a short time. Several hours later, still no access. I managed to pre-order at 5.00 am the following day. I realise that this is a problem caused by your reputation for excellence, but unless the website issues are fully resolved (they weren't in May) you risk losing customers as patience will wear thin”

“Very difficult to order the cohorted beauty box online - site continually crashed when May, June and July boxes went on sale. After many, many refreshes, finally managed to order June and July but May sold out. Tried again on the 1st May to order the box for the month and same issues - site crashing. Not good enough.”

“Whilst the contents of the Cohorted beauty boxes are great, they fail to have adequate stock to meet the demand, nor do the possess capable servers. Expect to be left either unable to get onto the website or unable to add adequately use the website, during Beauty box pre-sale days. Whilst cohorted has some decent discounts, they could have a better range of products and more products which are suitable for black and asian skin tones.”

“Only rated poor as I was trying to order mays beauty box and despite trying for an hour at 6pm I wasn't successful due to a server error. Otherwise, excellent products, prices, quick to respond to my query, and reasonably fast delivery.”
