“Worst online shopping experience I've ever had. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP, however nice their website looks! Royal Mail delivered my parcel to the wrong address and it subsequently couldn't be found. This happened during Covid and several of my neighbours were affected by similar issues. I contacted Royal Mail who told me that there had been problems in my area and that the sender, i.e. the shop, needs to report the item as lost so that I can be refunded. However, Crook and Staple refused to cooperate and I had to get legal advice and get my bank involved, who eventually refunded me. The whole process took over two months! My neighbours all got their refunds within days but I was unlucky enough to have entered a contract with Crook and Staples. Do not make the same mistake! The owner is extremely rude and has no clue how to deal with customers and no idea of contract law, which is worrying. Overall, an experience I don't wish on anybody. Don't do this to yourself!”

“Tried to place an online order 5 times using multiple cards but there was a problem at the checkout and our card was debited twice but no order acknowledgment and no goods. We tried to contact Crook and Staple via the webchat, email and telephone but so far no response. We ended up having to contact our credit card provider to cancel the payments. We still would have like to order the item by phone but they don’t answer the phone nor reply to messages. Distinct lack of customer service which I wouldn’t have thought they could afford in these times-does this place even have a business premises or shop?”
