The food on the day was excellent, as was the service. However, my experience of using Red Anywhere was a very poor one before the day itself. I was not at all impressed with the staff that I spent many hours emailing, and a complete lack of clarity over their pricing made life extremely stressful. My husband and I had to work very hard to check all of our invoices thoroughly, and we had to challenge extra costs that were added on. Our guests enjoyed the food, but I would not use Red Anywhere again. They promised simplicity in their publicity material, but our experience was exactly the opposite. Incidentally, all emails are sent in red text on a white background, which very difficult for people to read (almost impossible for a lot of people with dyslexia and/or colour-blindness). I did point this out, to no avail.

Dear Hannah, Dan here Chef Director of Red Anywhere, I am disappointed to read your review. Whilst this is exactly what the reviews site is for, your thoughts are out of character in regard to the rest on here and the many we receive weekly. However I take all feedback both positive & negative seriously. This helps us as a team learn from our strengths and in this case from things that were not quite right. I am delighted that the actual delivery of your dream day was how you dreamt it would. The team thoroughly enjoyed looking after you and your guests. I have spoken with Sophie, who is also disheartened by your review. It seems you were caught in the middle of quite a few changes. We did agree at the booking stage your quote and offering, and when things are asked for that are in addition, we quote and then it is for you to decided if you wish to take these extras. I know we did offer some items complimentary. It is a shame you felt there were hidden charges and costs, that is not the case, we work extremely hard to be as transparent as possible and receive many compliments about this. I also take on board your comment regarding our email font colour. Thank you for your time and the Red team wish you and your family well in the future Daniel Clarke Chef - Director
