“This the first time I've installed one, and I think it's a really good product as long as you have some patience and don't expect perfection on the first try. One thing I felt during install was it seemed to me that it takes a really long time to get a good bead of silicone out of the tube, so I do believe s caulk gun with a real tube would be much better.The second issue would be the lip around the srs airbag knockout seemed too deep, again it's probably because I was struggling to get material out... Don't expect it to lay flat and take your time reading about how to deal w all that. I had no sand bags ready and just went for it .the returns on the sides were difficult and it took two times to get that right ,also the multi switch portion needed alot of attention.The dash cluster edge was nice and tight but you must absolutely be ready w the tape on these spots and the glovebox section was particularly difficult because I had chunks of vinyl missing .Again be ready for some challenges and get ready w sandbags protective cardboard ,painters tape, razor blade ,rags,towels, etc. I prep sanded and cleaned my dash proper so you should too.Do not sand where the AIRBAG knockout is,I forgot but just shot it w/ some color and called it a day.I followed the install advice and let it set overbite.....”

“The dash fit perfectly, but needed to provide some double side tape to hold dash down for the silicone to cure completely, otherwise, some part of the dash lift up to high.”

“The color is perfect; the way it fits is also perfect BUT I’m having a hard time deciding whether I want to adhere it with GLUE or find a 2 sided tape to use ( it only needs to be adhered in a few (5) places …. It’s bottom line is : wonderful - Thank you!”

“Had the 2 piece dash on 2008 Avalanche. Replaced the front peice. Wish the lip that slides under the back piece was a half inch longer. But overall it looks good. Installation was easy and the other area fit good. Very pleased overall”

“Great color match as well as the matching the texture that Chevy put on the dash at the factory. The only fitment issues were around the instrument cluster. it would also be nice if the bottom edges that You see by the vents, were beveled towards the dash instead of just cut off flat. other than that it looks good, much better than the cracked-up dash.”

“I'm pretty impressed with this product so far. Take a look at the before and after of my 2011 Silverado. My dash wasn't cracked as much as some that I have seen, and I have tried to keep track and glue up cracks when they happen. You can see the black epoxy I used holding things together in the first photo. The DashSkin product is almost impossible to tell from the factory dash at first glance. 4 stars because it's not completely perfect, but it's darned close. Quick shipping, reasonable price, great customer service, and excellent instructions included (and online videos!) This thing was pretty easy to install. Follow the instructions exactly as they are written, put the glue dots and lines exactly where they recommend, and you will have no problems. I used shop towels and bricks as weights instead of a phone book as suggested in the instructions (because who has a phone book anymore?) Let the glue dry overnight and this thing is STUCK stuck on there. NO MORE RATTLING!!!! Seriously, this is the best part by far. All the rattling and squeaking is gone instantly. I highly recommend the one-piece product instead of the two-piece. The one-piece holds all of the parts together and keeps that second piece that's closest to the windshield from moving around, which is where most of the squeaking comes from. I have already recommended this product to a few friends who have the same truck with the same problem dash. I would definitely buy this again.”

“It was made well and the end result was good. The only issue was my dash is angled in such a way as it made it out impossible to use weight to hold it down while the adhesive dried. I used props but it was difficult. Also not enough adhesive was included to hold it down well. I bought more locally after my failed attempt and it didn't stick. It would be better if they included more and just charged for it instead of it be optional. I assumed what was included would be enough. That said the end result was great and if this wasn't available I would still have a really ugly dash so all and all a great purchase.”

“Delivery was quick and no damage. Fairly easy to install and looks good. There are two things which are negative regarding the product. Driver and passenger dash sides where the doors close have a distinct squeak when driving over bumps and terrain where there is body roll. Second, the dash is shiny and sun reflection of dash onto the wind shield makes for very annoying driving and difficult viewing thru wind shield on sunny days.”
