Returns - Difficult

Bought an item on line. It didn't fit so I returned it using EVRI (as per returns label included). Over two weeks later no sign of any refund so I had to chase it up. Then realise I have been charged to return the item (this charge in addition to paying the return postage). Can't recommend buying online from Debenhams unfortunately.

Id say be quicker to go through your credit card company or PayPal if used that method though PayPal if in your favour only refund delivery n item costs its up to you to pay for returns then.

Sizing was inconsistent between Debenhams product and that of a brand partner. Debenhams do not take responsibility for returns to brand partners despite the payment being made to them. I will not be using Debenhams again.

Debenhams are scammers. Never buy anything from Debenhams. Their website clearly states that you have 28 days to return items, but in reality, they don’t accept any returns for cosmetics or beauty products, even if they are still sealed in the original packaging. There’s no option to cancel your purchase once it’s made. The worst company ever.

Tried to return a pair of jeans. Logged on to returns would not accept my order number or Email address. Can't phone them, so i am left with a pair of unwanted jeans. Customer service, RUBBISH. Not even 1 star.

Returns are a nightmare, I will not shop at Debenhams again, which is a shame as I do like them.

My advice to people buying from this company is make sure the items you are purchasing are exactly what you want as delivery is good but returns are disgraceful.

So one order goes to multiple locations, meaning multiple returns to create, and multiple drop offs depending on each retailer’s policies.

Ordered bra 2nd July, it was nothing like picture, the returns was very difficult as I found out it was a 3rd party seller finally on the 23rd July Debenhams said my refund was being processed, today is the 30th and still not in bank the whole experience has caused great anxiety
