“Delta have zero empathy for people with disabilities.
Their "accessible" procedure is long and complicated and then they don't follow through on what they promise.
We recently flew from Orlando to Amsterdam and requested assistance on the flight - they ignored our requests multiple times and we had a horrendous experience on-board the flight because of it.
They discriminated against disabilities and not interested in my voice regarding this. Their customer care supervisor Jacob Costillo has not taken my complaint seriously, palming me off with pathetic copy-and-paste responses, saying the matter is closed. I have forwarded my complaints for the U.S Department of Transportation and implore that other people think before booking a flight with Delta.”

“I am very upset with the personal worked at the Gate E 15 To Quito Ecuador Departure. I have it the buddy pass but she doesn't respect the chairs when I go to talk with her about it if I travel and said wait then she choose other one is not on the list but she choose him because his American I am latin but the employees speak spanish and make the discrimination on me I told her why I need it to travel but she doesn't care my suffering she threat me like a garbage. “We were given a parking ticket that had both North AND South Parking on it. We found out later that when they run out of paper for one of the parking areas they will use North Parking Paper Slips for South Parking. We don't fly often so we were confused. I asked Delta Employees Willis & Kierras for help. After examining the ticket for a bit they sent us to North Parking which was the wrong parking garage. We spent over an hour looking in the wrong garage after a long flight and trip. There is nobody there to help. A gentleman cleaning the garage noticed we were having issues and asked if he could help us. He asked me to hold up the ticket and immediately knew we were in the wrong garage. He gave us detailed instructions on exactly where to go and how to get there. We found the car within 5 minutes.”
“I have recently dealt with the Delta Airlines Lost & Found dept. To say that my experience HORRIFIC would be an understatement ! For an item lost on a plane, the process was done strictly on line with basic "boiler plate" responses. It took exhaustive pressure to finally speak with a Customer Service Rep. and then i got a myriad of excuses / reasons why I probably would not have my item found instead of some positive feedback as to how they could help me.
Without going into detail, this was especially aggravating as I had specific information that could have easily pinpointed how to find my lost object. As time passed that option became less likely to work especially since the customer service reps continued to make excuses as to why they could not follow up on the information I had as to the specific date, flight #, and flight attendant that had possession of the lost article.
I take full responsibility for losing my article, however, the lack of caring on the part of the Delta employees and their poor and inadequate system is shameful !”
“The communication through the App is fantastic - got notification that my flight was delayed, easily found a different flight, rebooked and was on my way. Service far superior to other American carriers.”
“This review starts almost a year ago. While traveling with Delta Airlines, we were given the opportunity to volunteer our seats, due to an overbooking issue. As the charming, professional young woman behind the check-in counter began to explain this situation, we, of course, were a bit taken back at this developement. I had booked our seats well in advance, so initially we were taken aback. Much to.our delight, our willingness to give up our seats, was met with the marvelous news that, not only would this flight change get us into our destination EARLIER then the original, but Delta was happy to compensate us with a sizeable amount in future flight credits. I actually started to cry, my husband was speechless!! Because of this amazing gift of flights, we are able to take the 30th Anniversary trip of a lifetime.
The remainder of our air travel with Delta was spectacular! The service, the professionalism, the punctuality were superb. Thank you Delta for not just one amazing trip, but 2! Looking forward to flying with you again soon!”
