“For some reason I did not receive an email acknowledgement, but subsequent emails between us showed there was not a serious problem; so, I assumed this may have been a minor technical problem. The item subsequently arrived a couple of days after order placement. So, overall very satisfied. Actually, the time taken to respond tomy query re. order acknowledgement was four days. My email 03/09, your response 07/09.”

You should have received this by now. As this is not the case, it is safe to assume that your parcel has been mislocated or lost by the courier. “Products arrived safe and sound. Packed in a box with protective chips that look biodegradable. Tried eating one. Rather nice. But are they really safe to eat? Perhaps we should ask Dentaldirect before making it a regular addition to my muesli. First delivery attempt on time. Then stuck in Royal Mail delivery office for over a week.”
