Unfortunately it seems I should have read reviews prior to purchasing. I was skeptical but spent almost $100 on an item that was damaged. Customer service refused to provide a refund. Horrible company with terrible customer service.

Depop still don’t have anything in place to support me as a seller in this situation, so I have to both accept a return of a damaged item and issue a refund.

i then asked Depop what their policy is for things like this, and what the refund process for the buyer is, and if there is any help for me as well since i sold a beloved sweater that now nobody has! long story short, i have refunded the buyer myself for the purchase since they never received it, but i sadly do not have the item in hand either.

A fair few customers would break or damage intact items and even when proving the item was in perfect condition before send off, they still side with the customer giving them a full refund and me a unsellable item.

I purchased a bag, the delivery took a week longer than expected, the item was not as the picture and smells. I started to ask for a refund and they told me they were very sorry but it couldn’t be returned.
My first purchase and I felt cheated. This is a scam company. BE CAREFUL!!! Before you buy from this company.

I gave her a refund on the item but kept the shipping fee because, you know, I actually paid to have it shipped to her, and the post returns the parcel but doesn’t refund the fee.
