“The boots are excellent, good quality and very happy with them. My only two gripes are: 1. Delivery was quite slow, the website said they despatch usually next day, but I waited over a week for delivery 2. The colour shown online and in catalogue is nothing like the colour received, so much so I thought they had sent wrong boots. Taupe is much more sandy than picture. However would use again now I am familiar.”

I do apologise on behalf of the entire team for not having your order sent to you within our suggested time frame. The suede colour does vary from shoe to to shoe as it is made out of natural materials and the screen resolutions settings doesn’t do no justice either. We do have a professional in-house photographer taking the very best of pictures. I assume the actual product looks better on your feet then they do on the web. Regards Dhru desertboots.com

“Lovely comfortable boots. Just like the ones I wore years ago. Only 2 problems: 1. As I wear them every day the sole wears out in 8 months. 2. They are lethal when walking on any wet surface. There is no grip due to the material the sole is made of. Even with the above I am on my second pair.”

“Overall, a good rating regards processing and packing and Product but one negative point is: what's the point in asking if there are any special delivery requests....in my case, please leave in shed if no answer! Then when I arrive home just a Royal Mail card saying come and pick it up. If you are sending it 'Signed Delivery' then no point in delivery request's”

Hi Brian, Thank you for your review, glad to hear you are happy with the product. Sorry about the problem you had with delivery. Our items are sent out on a tracked service which does not require a signature but delivery notes are read at the drivers discretion. Most of the time these notes are acted upon but on occasion you may have to collect from the deport.

Hi Susan Thank you for your review, glad to hear your happy with the boots. In regards to the protective spray, this is a treatment which is applied to the boot before dispatch. You can buy a bottle of the spray from the Shoe Care section of the website.

Hi Edward, Thanks for the review, sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the colour of your boot. With suede being a natural material the shade of a colour will vary and depending on which way you brush it, it will also affect the shade. All our photos are taken by professional photographers and are as accurate as possible. If the colour is drastically different then please contact our customer service team who will try and assist you.

Regarding the protective spray, it does state on our website that we will apply the treatment to your boots before they are sent out, you can buy a bottle of protective spray in the shoe care section of the website. But we are pleased that you are happy with the quality of your boots.
