“Ordered the Chef's Choice 220 hybrid knife sharpener. Not only is this an excellent product - easy to use and very dull knives now beautifully sharp; but the service from Dexam was excellent. Good systems, helpful staff, well packaged and swift despatch. Will definitely bookmark their website for future use.”

“I bought a knife sharpener from Dexam last year and received good service and prompt delivery. When I was searching for a new wok this year, I compared the products from different retailers and decided to order from Dexam again. The wok was delivered promptly via DHL but I found out there was a manufacturing fault on the handle. I emailed their customer service and they quickly arranged to send a replacement which I received in the next two days. I like their wide choice of products on offer and good customer service, will buy from them again.”

“Chef’s Choice Trizor XV EdgeSelect Sharpener Platinum ordered on 8th May, no updates from UPD/DPD or some reputable courier who will give me an email with tracking I could use. Then order status shows as completely on the account on their website. Emailed customer support who said that the courier(can't even name it or provide tracking on replying to an upset customer who is upset that they did not receive their product) delivered it at 12.00 to LIM. I am just appalled cos I was in and there was no phone call and it was apparently delivered specifically at noon to a person who is addressed as LIM(dodgy eh cos since when do people make a delivery specifically at noon) when my first name is Joshua and when I received signed for deliveries myself I always made sure they put it down as Joshua(first name) and the Lim(Last name) Email then makes it entirely my responsibility to find my own parcel that I DID NOT SIGN FOR and not a word of them even mildly apologetic or empathetic in the reply email(and no I don't consider kind regards to be kind words). 10% discount for 1st customers was why I chose them over Hart of Surt and I now regret it.”

“The Dexam Retro Kitchen Scales (Cream coloured), are excellent quality, environmentally friendly due to needing no batteries or electric power, and unlike very many scales the dial very helpfully gives measurements in 25 gram. (Most recipes give measures in multiples of 25 grams not 20 grams.) Delivery from Dexam by post was also extremely fast. I would strongly recommend Dexam's Retro Kitchen Scales to anyone.”

Dear Ibrahim, Thank you for your comment. This is not a problem we have encountered before and it's a product where we have sold thousands. Maybe it is a small batch issue. Please soak in warm soapy water for ten minutes, and then take a non- metallic scouring pad to it. If that doesn't work, I would use an alcohol like lighter fluid. of course, we will replace it via John Lewis if it is still stuck. Meanwhile, we will ask the supplier to ensure that this is not an ongoing issue. Thanks again. Kind regards. Pete

Hi Sue, We are extremely happy that you're happy with the quality of the product as well as the fast delivery, we apologise if we have misinformed you however our packing peanuts are not polystyrene but are bio-degradable and compostable and are made from sustainable, GM-free starch. You can dispose of them by emptying them into a sink or bath and dissolve them by running water over them. The starch they are made from is not harmful to pipes and should wash away easily. Any residue left is not harmful to the environment. We hope this helps and apologise for not informing you of this, thank you for choosing Dexam and we hope to see you again very soon! “We ordered a knife sharpener from Dexam in Decemeber. Hadn't received it by March. No response when we emailed customer service. Had to get a refund through Paypal. Avoid at all costs”
