It would have been helpful to know date of release of 'Iris' DVD when I ordered it in early August. I received an acknowledgement of order but no delivery date. I queried this as I wanted it for my daughter's birthday on 23 August. I was told release date wasn't until 24/8, but that my order would be posted on Friday 21st so I would have it in time for her birthday. Unfortunately it didn't arrive until Monday 24th! But I'm sure that my daughter will be pleased to receive it, belatedly, when I see her this weekend.

I think that for the price I paid, the products could be in a little better quality. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the service.

Prompt and reliable service. DVD stopped half way through, but after turning off and on again was able to continue where it had stopped.

Didn't give a date of dispatch or estimated delivery date. But the items arrived on time and in good condition.

It's hard to rate you when I've only just ordered one thing and haven't received it yet!

I ordered two films from Dogwoof, which arrived the very next day. I've watched Spirit of '45, which was excellent. I'm looking forward to watching the Punk Singer, and will definitely be back to the website soon to check out some more first-class documentaries. Shame they work with Amazon and Apple, two companies known for their poor treatment workers and tax avoidance. I suppose they have to maximise their distribution, but this is why I have given a rating of "good", rather than "very good".

Website design: easy to find the dvds I was interested in, easy to pay. Delivery service: ordered items arrived quickly. Packaging a bit basic compared to e.g. Amazon but was good enough. Recommendations: I hate mainstream monopolists like Amazon or Google/YouTube and I am actively looking for alternative media retailers for both dvd and downloads. I considered watching Dogwoof content online but there was only the option to buy one viewing and I like to repeat watch my favourite documentaries so I bought the dvd. I will convert this to MP4 to watch across platforms on my home network so would have liked option to buy MP4 download to save me time. Would also consider a monthly subscription to get on demand streaming - don't mind paying a bit above market average if it supports independent documentary makers and creative activity, especially UK-based industry. Please increase library of content on offer. I like watching archive documentaries too from 1930s through to 1970s is like a 'golden age' for British documentary. Verdict: very happy, would recommend Dogwoof to other documentary aficionados.
