Got a Question?

How does the leverage work on the platform? I mean the mechanism, whether it’s fixed, dynamic, or adjustable.
Asked by Darterrius (2 weeks ago)
So, they have two different variations of leverage. Let me tell you briefly about both of them, so I can help you out. Fixed leverage - as the name suggests, the leverage level remains constant, no matter what your exposure or open positions are. This type is typically used for assets that have stable trading conditions… Some people like it, some people don’t, it really depends on which type of trader you are. And it’s also about getting used to this, and it’s better be done on a demo account. Floating leverage - this one should be more popular in my opinion. The leverage adjusts automatically depending on your total position. Typically, smaller trade sizes get higher leverage, while larger trades tend to shift into lower leverage levels. This can also change with fluctuations in market prices, so you need to watch out. You can also try to ask the support system, they will tell you about your favourite asset directly, as they all don’t have the same leverage.

Have you ever had a situation when you got a question you asked from the doto support team but they did not respond at all or gave unclear answers?
Asked by Alexio R (4 weeks ago)
I worked with other brokers, but not with doto. First thing first, the live chat feature is truly live. You get immediate response, like always. About the quality of the responses, well that depends on the nature of your question, and most of the times i have integrated with their support i was satisfied. The one thing that I like a lot is that they dont redirect you to check for answers in their help center or faq. Instead, they give you answer

Can somebody give a doto review about their newly added raw account, does it really make sense to switch to it, cost and execution wise?
Asked by Santoso J (2 months ago)
I trade with the Doto South Africa platform and use the raw account. It’s excellent but only if you understand its advantage and it fits your trading style. This is great for scalpers and can be good for daytraders as well. The difference is in the spreads. You get seriously thin spreads. So if you need a tight spread for your trading strategy, this is it.
Answered by Awad Klemann (2 months ago)
It makes sense if you trade on lower timeframes, use algo trading robots, or trade with large volumes. You can save on spreads, charged only by fixed $3.5 per side. Execution wise, I don’t think, it’s somehow better than their ordinary standard account. It’s not ECN or something similar to be faster… Though, imho there should be no worries, since doto is overall optimal execution wise. Slippage is minimal per my observation. Compared to industry standard 5-6 bucks per side, here raw account looks more affordable…

Is doto in south africa popular, what services they offer?
Asked by Hugo S. (2 months ago)
Doto is a cfd broker. An online trading platform. The service they provide is brokerage service. A platform where you can trade hundreds of tradable instruments like forex, commodities, crypto, even shares, and more. I don’t get how you can first ask if they are popular in South Africa and in the same question ask what kind of service this company provides. I’m sure it’s some misunderstanding and you wanted to ask something else. Nevermind. I’m not going to guess, just will tell you that the broker is very popular, globally and in South Africa as well.

What instruments are recommended for trading on Doto's platform for beginners?
Asked by Lesego M. (2 months ago)
beginners shouldnt trade at all, I hope you mean demo account. In that case, I would say pick an asset you have an interest in. ANY works! For me, I think gold works the best. Some stocks are also nice, especially when news hits. Even if you dont catch the news right away, usually there are 'aftershocks', at least a couple times. Each of them is a nice green $$ day. Currencies and most commodities, for me, are harder to understand.
Answered by Kai V. (2 months ago)
Everybody chooses the instrument to trade themselves, but let me tell you my story and recommendation with the asset. Look, before Indices, I tried cryptocurrencies, and I don’t really recommend trading them intraday. Not because they are volatile or not beginner friendly, but because most of the smaller cap coins and pump and dump ones. I don’t understand how to trade them seriously, feels like they don’t follow any technical analysis rules. If one guy buys the coin with lots of money, the coin instantly goes up several percents, and vice versa, which of course you can find the way how to trade, but not for beginners. I tried forex pairs too, but they are too slow. You can’t take intraday trades there, because the 5 min and 1 min chart looks like a bar code most of the time. How a person can really trade that kind of a price action… What I trade currently and advice is US100 and US500. There are many people starting to trade these assets, and it’s for a reason! The reason is great price action inside of the day, I don’t know any other asset that will move with such volume and volatility, but without any pumps and dumps. Both of them are correlated, so each time you see a big difference, you can take advantage of that. Check out the ICT concepts on youtube, those works the best with it.

Would you recommend doto’s app for someone who has been trading only via mt4?
Asked by Marcos Mora85 (3 months ago)
Mt4 is the platform with its own peculiarities. So in terms of the charting interface, I guess it will be harder to adjust, because doto uses tradingview charts, far from being similar to mt4/ More modern, less old school I’d say:))) But for trading tab (current orders, past orders, current p&l) the platform are almost identical. I guess they did something like a combination of strong sides of every platform. Charts from tv and execution tab from mt. That’s why I can recommend it if you’re not hesitant to trade on a smaller screen. Features and convenience, top at their app.

Do recent updates make a positive difference in what Doto broker provides or it remains the same?
Asked by Nazmi Kassab (4 months ago)
To be honest, i didn’t witness any big updates with doto, and can’t tell much about the changes. I trade the same asset everyday, and don’t change my tastes, maybe that’s the reason why i’m off the news However i would say that it’s not something bad. I mean my trading experience is always stable and reliable, i don’t have any issues with spreads, execution, technical analysis tools, withdrawals and etc. It’s far more important for me than adding some unnecessary promotions or innovations that only 5% of traders will use. Better to perfect trading services and then think of something new.

How good are the trading conditions on this platform for trading gold?
Asked by Eloy Borra (5 months ago)
I trade gold here, alongside forex, but the gold is my main asset would say. I trade it everyday. So, if you ask me, the trading conditions are not bad at all… they give leverage up to 100x, which is more than enough for gold moves, since it's very volatile,, you know. Spread is tight most of the time, like not eating too much of my profit when I open or close trade. Also important, they don’t charge any commission when you open or close position, only thing you pay is swap if you hold trade overnight, but that’s kinda normal everywhere, and by the way, holding it overnight for me is a bit risky. So the swap fees doesn’t realy make any difference for me. As for the platform, that’s another topice, but it is worth to mention… it is stable, runs smooth, execution is fast, no crazy slippage or freeze when market spike. So, sure I would def recommend it for trading gold
Answered by Pánfilo Urías (5 months ago)
Well, doto quite unique in providing favorable conditions for trading gold. For instance, it’s the first time when I see how a broker offers high leverage up to x100 on GOLD. They also implemented the AI assistant that can help you in setting right, take profits and stop losses. I didn’t expect it to be so effective, sometimes it seems the AI knows how to trade better than me, even though I’ve been in this field for over 3,5 years.

Is there the recommended deposit/payment method, theres too many too choose from, whats best?
Asked by Leonardo (6 months ago)
Depends on your preferences buddy. If you don’t like using modern ways with unusual and unfamiliar procedures, then a bank card is the best option for you, just believe me, no need to come up with something new. However, if you would like to try something new and have fast transactions, from my experience, USDT and other crypto currencies is the best way to withdraw money fastly to your crypto wallet and with minimal commissions for blockchain.

On what platform, you prefer to trade at Doto and why?
Asked by Darmanto (8 months ago)
I use the doto platform to trade bro, and let me explain to you why so. I hate mt platforms. I cant do anything with it. I opened both mt4 and mt5 and they are literally the same in my opinion. Both of them look like the platform from the 90s. However, thanks doto they worked very good on their platform. It has a modern and intuitive interface. Additionally, i want to emphasize on the speed of executions — instant.

Does Doto offer other ways to make money aside from traditional trading?
Asked by Kai Webster (9 months ago)
No, they don’t provide you with a job or anything like this. Doto didn’t try to overcomplicate their services, only given focus to what is important- trading itself. Still, they have an affiliate program, where you can become their partner. What is needed to do, is to refer the broker to other traders and earn commissions. Everything depends on conversion rates, how many active traders you brought and how many lots(volume) they traded at any of Doto’s platforms. Let’s call it some sort of side-hussle, not a new thing in the trading industry.

What kind of trading conditions, doto offers for trading forex majors?
Asked by Mujur Budiman (11 months ago)
What they offer for forex in general is good, if we talking about majors - the conditions you get are nice, and this is about x500 leverage. High enough to make some handsome profit, and even minors have good conditions, x100.
Answered by Luan V (11 months ago)
I enjoy comfy trading terms for forex majors, including leverage up to 1:500 and notably low spreads starting from one pip. All of this is accompanied by a minimum deposit requirement of just $15. There is a rich choice of apps, including the Doto platform or advanced tools like MetaTrader 4 and 5.

Is it beneficial to trade with doto on the crypto market?
Asked by K. Nghiem (1 year ago)
There is no such broker that guarantees you being in the black. The question could be reformulated to “Is doto a transparent and honest to trade with” as this is an essential condition for profitable trading - so that you had clear rules on markets and the broker would stick to them. In my opinion, doto is transparent and consistent.

What is most profitable asset for trading in Doto app?
Asked by Wage Mansur (1 year ago)
There is no definite answer, buddy:) Everything is up to you! You may want to trade the most liquid assets (such as major fx pairs) to ensure the market moves all the time. But all in all, it’s about your trading strategy regardless of a specific asset.

What strategy would you advise to employ if I am a day trader and work with forex pairs?
Asked by K. Juntasa (1 year ago)
Whatever you wish, mate. If you are a day trader and work with the currency pairs, then I can advise you to either pay attention to time-proven strategies tied on indicators' combination and monitoring chart patterns, or you can try trading on events. You know, if you trade majors, than any FED decision significantly impacts their price fluctuations, so you can try trading on such events. Try trading on level breakthroughs, it's also quite a spread way to earn some bucks. Experiment, do not be afraid, the Doto broker imposes no limitations on using strategies.

What are the distinctive traits of their custom platform compared to MT?
Asked by Su Quang (1 year ago)
Well, it depends much on which MT app you had in mind. At Doto both, MT4 and MT5 apps are available, alongside its custom Doto app. I would say in general the Doto app is more intuitive, more convenient, and has a better-looking interface and design. Performance-wise, I didn’t notice any differences. All of them are stable and perform perfectly. As a downside, it needs to be mentioned that the Doto app is available only as a mobile phone app, but it is not a big deal, each of us today trades through our phone.

How can I upload my custom indicators into the doto platform?
Asked by Staporn (1 year ago)
First, I don’t know what kind of indicators you have created, but there is a way to use them if you want. Doto’s charting is powered by TradingView. This means you can use all the indicators that are uploaded to this charting platform. So, you just open a different account on the TradingView platform and upload your indicator there. After that, you just need to search for the name of the indicator through Doto’s app. I think this is the best way, and maybe there are other ways I don’t know.

If I will lost my account login and password for some reason, will I be able to recover access?
Asked by Leeto B. (1 year ago)
Of course! I think that even without the help of their support service, you will be able to restore access to your account. Just follow all instructions. You will see it when you try to log in to your account. There will be a special button for those who forgot or lost their personal data. And if there are problems, you can always write to their support service. They will help with data recovery, I am sure.

Hey, does their trading application work correctly and stably?
Asked by Asnee (1 year ago)
Pff, you are even asking! :) This app works smoothly like you spread butter over the bread! You will not have orders getting delayed due to some bugs or some server problems. For charting you have a set of powerful tools and indicators. For example, I use my fav one - parallel channel. This one is utilized by me when I see a developing and or trending channel. With the tool, I can see where a possible breakout might occur. There are other too, you gotta teast and check yourself. Moreover, the app is light, therefore it will not eap up lots of your operational memory

What's the average sentiment of Doto reviews in your opinion?
Asked by Gareth Mashinini (1 year ago)
Well, I think most are satisfied since they allow you to trade from $15, while they do not take a commission for deposit and withdrawal
Answered by Traipoom S. (1 year ago)
Despite that the broker, like any other service, has both positive and negative reviews, the average sentiment is positive. At least that's impression I had when I studied them. It was couple of months ago and I don't think anything has changed in that time. Most likely, as before, most customers are satisfied with quality of services.
