“It's an okay product and I appreciate the clean formula and ingredients. The one thing that bothered me is the citric acid in the formula as it can have a too sour effect on my throat while running. Otherwise the blood orange flavour is superb. And it does the job well as far as energy goes.”

“Love the Perple sports drink - in a weekly rotation now across my different work-outs including football, 10k runs and gym sessions. For a natural product, the taste is great and my extra energy is measured via the data on my whoop! Ditching other products from now on.”

“Easy to mix and nice taste. Not too sure if this does give the same carbs/energy as 5/6 gels over a 2 hr run as says 7.9 carbs for 500mls mix. Used on a 1hr 30 min run and drank most of the 500mls to try and keep legs going but felt a bit sloshy in stomach from volume. Perhaps as drank over a short space of time. Not sure I'm confident enough to go with this alone on a half marathon 2hrs 25mins. Time will see”
