“car had a flat battery, idiot on the other end of the phone said it was my
fault, and that I had inadvertently left a light ,and would not come out
without a 120.00 call out charge. The said this would be refundable
if it was found out I hadn't left a light on. I explained how could this
be done as I have no electrics. After an argument ,and some sarcastic comments by the supposedly called expert,i gave up and sorted it myself. DONT BOTHER buying any form of insurance from this company, they are totally clueless and are just acting a subsidiary to
make a few quid. 24/7. try ringing out of normal office hours,Yet again
DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.”
“Paid for Breakdown cover with Drive24-7, only to be told by the company that actually delivers the cover (Emergency Assist) that my cover had been cancelled. Drive24-7 promised a refund and then disappeared, no communication, no refund, no cover! disgraceful.”
“No attempt to fix car at side of road, only recovery to a local garage despite advertising this. The tow truck driver was unable to repair as he was not a mechanic and purely a tow truck driver. Questioned this with the company and got a particularly unhelpful and rude repsonse from them.
Avoid at all costs, there are cheaper alternatives with better reviews.”
