Review and raise up to £2.00
We took a car lease through Paul Dolphin at easilease.co.uk and were told that we had to pay the first months rent with a £2,500 deposit. We had no issues with this and went ahead with the deal. The car was supposed to be with us in 8 weeks, however we did not receive the car for 5 months.
Communication with Easilease was appalling and we were constantly chasing for updates as to when we were going to receive our car. Then when we finally collected the car, it turns out that Paul Dolphin and Easilease had just been a broker for Evogo.co.uk and the deposit should have been £800, not £2,500.
That aside we took the car and then at the end of the contract when we took it back, we discovered that the first months rental of £800 had not been paid to Evogo by their broker Paul Dolphin. To this day Paul still has not paid us our money back and I have been chasing him constantly ever since.
A quick look online shows that his company has been dissolved by Companies House as he has never filed any accounts or confirmation statements. So not only has he not been paying his suppliers the full amount he owes them, he has clearly never paid any tax on the money he has earnt through his company.
We were led to believe the whole time we ordered the car that it was coming from Easilease, but in reality they are just brokering deals from a proper lease firm and ripping people off in the process.
Stay well clear!
