“Eden placed us two years ago in our current position. They were so helpful and friendly which made us choose to register with them . It’s very hard matching people to families as the dynamics are so different once in the placements. So things can go wrong but that’s not Edens fault . They called us after our first month to check all was ok and we were happy , which others agencies have never done .”
“Avoid Eden recruitment at all costs! They take almost £10,000 and fail to find replacements as promised - even when the employee lasted only two weeks. To make it worse, after taking the huge sum, they said we aren’t entitled to a replacement because the initial finders fee wasn’t paid before the employer started - it was paid the week after - the first week the employer was working for us. Which is common practice of when you pay a finders fee!
I do not believe they check the references properly as the employee appeared to have some extreme mental health issues which I raised with Tammara but I didn’t so much as get a call back to check.
They have said to pay them again at a discount rate and they will find someone else for us!! Absolute sharks and completely immoral way to run a business.
Don't be deceived by their empty claims. Read the truthful 1-star reviews to see their unethical practices. Protect yourself and choose a reputable company instead as there are some amazing household staff companies in London who practice with great morals.”
“I am writing to bring to your attention my profound dissatisfaction with the services provided by Eden Agency, which, regrettably, has led to a considerable and distressing situation.
In my recent engagement with Eden Agency, I encountered a distressing scenario where the assigned nanny unilaterally decided to terminate her services due to a disagreement regarding the care of my baby. This departure prompted my request for a deposit refund, to which the nanny agreed via WhatsApp communication, providing my bank details for the transaction.
Following her departure, I promptly contacted Eden Agency seeking a replacement, as was verbally assured during the initial engagement. Regrettably, I encountered a three-day delay in their response to my emails and calls. Upon their reply, I was informed that a replacement was never guaranteed, contrary to previous assurances, and the current service rates had escalated due to the urgency of the situation.
Despite my agreement to the revised rates, there was an extensive delay of five weeks before I received a single curriculum vitae (CV) for a potential replacement. Furthermore, despite my request, Eden Agency declined to facilitate communication with the former nanny to secure the return of my one-week deposit.
This situation has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the level of service provided by Eden Agency. The lack of adherence to verbal commitments, delayed responses, and changes in pricing have created an untenable situation. I feel compelled to express my disappointment in the agency's refusal to acknowledge any responsibility for the issues at hand.
