“When the green box shows up on our porch, I know I have a solid two hours of peace and she has that much time to just explore her new animal. After that, I'll get to hear all kinds of information about the animal of the month! Her next session will focus on the rest of her kit. Often she has a friend come over to do some activities, play the game, or do the science portion.
I know that when that kit comes, she cannot be interrupted! (So if I need her to do something, I'll hide it! Then I can tell her to look for something that came in the mail today.)
When we know the animal will be coming soon, she starts wondering what the animal will be. We have fun guessing and hoping.
Our edZOOcation boxes are just such a fun part of her month.”
