“Congratulations Dave you have produced a really great product and service. I have been working out most of my adult life, primarily lifting weights, so was a little skeptical about using ''rubber bands'' I have to say though that they do a great job. Although they can never replace free weights for building size and strength, in conjunction with them they work very well, and are a lot kinder on the joints, which makes training around any injury much easier.”

“Very impressed with the quality and tension provided. I focus mainly on strength in the gym but these are more than up for the job. Being able to take them away with me and fit into a weekend bag is very useful. I've already directed some family members to the site as they were impressed also. I think the tension on doors needs to be expressed as the only concern as I could imagine cheap doors may break from the tension created. Over all very impressed with the product amd service. Thanks very much”

Thanks for an amazing review. As for breaking doors it is not possible even with a cheap door, as the full tension is never placed on the door, instead the band stretches out, which relieves some of the tension. The Full tension would not be put on the door unless you fully stretched the sleeve out and then kept pulling. Also as per the instrctions you should not use the door anchor unless you are either A) Pulling the door shut NOT open or B) Have locked it of placed a door jam under it. This should prevent the door moving and / or opening. Kindest regards, Dave.

P.S as per the instrctions on site, using the hinged side for the anchor, not the handle side, is also the correct way of fitting the anchor. So it will be pulling on the hinged side not the the handle side meaning less force on the door.

“Having already tried other, more basic, bands before, which I wasn't particularly pleased with, I did not expect the ElastiTone bands to be as good as they've turned out to be. They are easy to use, and although I don't know whether or not the resistance ratings are accurate, it makes no difference because the Pro Ultra set I purchased has more than enough resistance for me, and I expect, most other people anyway. The product seems of very good quality and I particularly like the quick switch system and importantly, the safety sleeve. The only thing that remains now is how durable will the bands turn out to be; on that score, only time will tell. The only criticism I have about ElastiTone is not about the product itself but more about the service provided, in particular the postage charge. Living on the Isle of Wight some businesses charge a premium for postage and packing; considering that we are only 10 minutes by Hovercraft from Portsmouth, the fact that Royal mail charges the same as to anywhere else in the UK, and that I've bought items from Ebay, Amazon, and many other retailers without incurring an extra charge, the fact that Elasitone wanted to charge me £15 P&P was a big disappointment. As it happened, I had my bands sent to a relative's address in Nottingham which although saved me £10, did mean that I didn't get my hands on them for over a month which was when my relative next visited.”

Many thanks for the review, very kind. Regarding postage, you were not overcharged.The item is classed as a 3KG item, the Royal mail charge is over £16 for the entire UK due to the weight and size. I use a courier instead because Royal mail charge to much but the total cost was still more than what you paid. There is no such thing as free or cheap shipping for items of that weight, any seller that charges less is simply adding the cost on to the item, for example i could easily charge £49.99 instead of £39.99 and tell people postage is free but I would rather be honest, i hope you understand.
