Had trouble identifying the correct engine variant for a service manual. Support asked for the VIN and engine details, checked it and came back with the right one. Really appreciated that because downloading a manual is easy, knowing you've got the RIGHT manual before stripping an engine is what matters.

We specialise mostly in German cars and the amount of model variation is ridiculous. Same looking car, different engine code, different gearbox, different procedure. Being able to check the service information against the exact vehicle before starting has prevented more than one headache. Very happy with it.

I joined for my work van originally, but the weird win was finding appliance service guides too. Ended up fixing a dryer and dishwasher too with this site. I still call pros when it’s over my head, but having the manual first keeps me from not knowing anything.

Modern car companies are hilarious in the worst way. They’ll sell you a $60,000 vehicle, then hide the procedure to reset a service light behind dealer software like it’s ancient forbidden knowledge. I joined the site after getting tired of that whole game. Give me the manual, give me the specs, let me decide what I can fix and what I can’t!

I’m pretty picky with service info because I mostly need specs.

I have a thing for collecting old European wagons. The big thing this site helped me is with torque specs and fluid procedures. Some of these cars have weird fill methods, stretch bolts, service positions, all that annoying stuff you don’t want to learn the hard way. Ngl I still use community forums for tips, in fact that's where I find out about these guys. But I use the factory manuals for the numbers that actually matter.

I work maintenance for an apartment complex, so I have to figure out why things have stopped working all the time. I signed up for one of our old service vans, but I’ve ended up using it for a pressure washer, a generator, and even a laundry machine. I’m not saying I can fix everything now, but having the manual means I’m not starting every job by searching how to do it on youtube.

We used to bleed money on corporate diagnostic software whether we touched it that month or not. This covers more than we expected and it paid for itself within the first transmission job alone. Cool service!

This subscription is perfect for me as i need to manage twenty delivery vans in our company. We just try to minimize downtime as much as possible, and having the actual service procedures on hand instead of waiting on a dealer callback has cut our average repair time drastically. Legit manuals too, everything is oem for our fords.

Got a couple older outboards I tinker with and their old ass manuals are usually hard to find. But with this service I can find most of the ones I need, especially the johnsons and hondas.
