I bought a car from EMC cars it was a bad mistake. I have only had the car for just over a month. 3 days after buying it the brakes failed whilst driving it. I took it to a garage and was informed that this car sound not have been sold as it was a death trap. I had the brakes repaired at my own expense. A week after this my clutch went. Then the exhaust and recently the engine management light is on and it's in a garage again. Please do not buy a car from these and go else where. I am now in the process of getting legal advice to take them to court.

We saw the ad on auto trader and bought the car which was told to have FSH, no major damage or any CAT and we were sold with the warranty that HANDLER was our golden ticket! LIES. Emanuel sold us a citroen mpv that stalled on the motorway less than a week after we bought it putting my young kids and family in danger! clutch gearbox faulty dodgy MOT, tyres rundown, engine oil missing faulty electronics, ac not working - you name it and the car has it! I paid for a full diagnostics check with a citroen dealership and the cost to make this car functional is twice the price of what I paid to buy it from this deceitful dishonest liar! Car has no FSH and infact he gave us the wrong service history of a car with another reg!!! tens and thousands of pounds spent by prev owners on this car - dodgy MOT definitely work with a dodgy garage and he keeps asking us to drop off our car so he can inspect it!? Are you a bigger expert than the experts at the CITROEN showroom EMANUEL? Liar! Robbing jerk! You have zero ethics and morals! Shame on you and people like you. We are going to CAB and going to file a case against him with all the texts evidence and WRONG paperwork he has given us. He will try to sell you that HANDLER offers warranty - avoid this guy like the plague! He is a liar. He is a cheater. He is deceitful and I will make sure I take him to court for the fraud! AVOID EMC and AVOID EMANUEL and MATHIAS! They should be convicted - felons!!!!

DONT and I mean DONT be fooled by the good reviews that I suspect they have written themselves .. these people are the lowest of the low I’m at court stage trying to get my money back on a clapped out jeep I stupidly bought from them .. they hide behind who is the true owner .. these people buy doomed cars at auction and sell them on to people that know nothing about cars like me .. on the way home from buying the cars interior light would not turn off , I was being flagged down by other motorists as there were clouds of thick black smoke coming out of it .. on inspection the turbo had blown and there was a massive hole in the turbo pipe .. one week later I was told the EGR valves had gone and on my way to the garage there was a terrible noise from the wheels the mechanic said as is come on the motorway it’s lucky I had not been killed as the wheel was hanging off .. please please don’t allow these crooks to make any more money .. currently they are replying to court letters saying GONE AWAY .. this firm need to be on Watchdog to prevent any one else being ripped off I ended up selling the car as scrap to a motor trader for £600 I paid £2.750 5 months earlier .

Shameful disregard for customers. Car we bought was inherently wrong on day one, not covered by the useless 2 year warranty, had serious engine malfunction first time we took it out and they pretended it was ok predelivery. Tracked down previous owner who said he'd sold it to webuyanycar. com for peanuts as he was sick of problem we inherited. This garage is a disgrace and we are taking them to court.

DO NOT BUT FROM THIS COMPANY OR ANY OTHERS CONNECTED TO THEM - DO YOUR RESEARCH ON COMPANIESHOUSE AND AVOID ALL COMPANIES LINKED!!! All bad reviews you read will be true. I know this first hand and have been speaking with many others who have fallen victim to this company and others connected to it. Do not waste your money and years of your life trying to get it back!

They sold me a car which was a death trap. On the MOT document they gave me it said the car was sound and solid. But i found out only 8 months later that the car was a death trap and could have fallen apart at any point. They took advantage of me not having any knowledge on cars and put me and my family at risk. After looking at all the reviews, I did a lil digging and found out that they had lied about the MOT and also used a dodgy MOT test centre. Had to scrap the car after it failed the MOT as it was completely unsafe to drive and not worth the risk driving back to the dealership to demand my money back. I wish I had done the digging before I bought the car. Please DO NOT do any business with the company, they cannot be trusted by any means

Bought a Corsa VXR from EMC. 36 hours later it blew the turbo. Was told by EMC to take it to a local garage and claim through the warranty.Upon investigation the cause of the turbo failure was down to lack of lubrication which voided the warranty (this also caused the piston and rings to nip up in the 4th cylinder). The car had been serviced by EMC a mere 1000 miles earlier which again upon investigation the oil filter was completely collapsed the oil was thick and the strainer was blocked which points to the service not being carried out properly. I contacted EMC and "Crown Motor Group" their complaints dept and was offered a fraction of any repair costs which I refused. Was then told to take them to the motor Ombudsman if I wanted which I decided to do. 6 months later I receive an email from the ombudsman telling me that EMC ARE NOT A MEMBER OF THE MOTOR OMBUDSMAN even though they state they are on their website and the paperwork supplied with the car. SO PLEASE BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM EMC

Avoid Avoid Avoid! What a bunch of sweet talkers! Very happy to take your money, but not happy to give it back if something goes wrong- which it did! Seriously unpleasant place. Bagshot branch! if you’re smart- you won’t buy from them. My first day viewing, a car was reversed onto another car. Second day I came, it still hadn’t been moved- just shows they don’t take care of their cars.

Brought my sons car from emc. The first problem was the boot would not open unless you used the key. Then a service light came on and the car went into limp mode. Rang up to be told go through the warrenty. They eventually had the car back I was told it was fixed picked it up to get to the top of the road and the light came back on. After many phonecalls to them and the so called warrenty company I'm left with a car that doesn't work and I've spent another £220 trying to get the problem fixed. In my opinion the after care service is shocking. The car is worthless now and my sons first car experience hasn't been great.

Bought a car from them in October 2018, took back after 2 days, after about 4weeks got it back still not right .They don't answer the phone and lie about what's be done. Would not recommend them but if you do use them make sure you check the car out really well and if anything is not right ,don't buy it.

I am so shocked with EMC Cars. They sold me a death trap. A car with a botched drive shaft that could dislodge at any moment. It’s not even an exaggeration to say I feel very lucky that me and my kids didn’t come to harm in this car. Don’t use them people! They couldn’t care less what they sell. No integrity or duty of care at all.
