“My daughter’s classes are above and beyond my expectations. Her tutor, Nicola, is a fantastic teacher. At the beginning of the lessons she very clearly highlights the main objective behind the topic and even solves a few of the math problems herself. Each class is concluded with detailed notes, quizzes and homework to continue studying the main topic. She always quickly responds to my daughter's questions and checks she understands. Great lessons for anyone in need of improving their math skills.”
“My English speaking journey is going very well. So far I have really enjoyed the lessons and my tutor gives me good videos to watch in between classes. I need lots more lessons but I think I can keep improving my English speaking and soon I will be able to have many conversations. Thank you Epic Tutor : )”
“I applied as an online English teacher over a month ago. I uploaded my cv and evidence of my qualifications and was told I needed to do this if I wanted to proceed and be interviewed.
It's very worrying reading the other review as I was also contacted by Ella. After I sent in my teaching certificates, I wrote a follow up email to ask for more information about the job. However, I also got an automated response saying she was on annual leave. I'm concerned now as I have submitted important documents to a company I'm not sure even exists!
There is also no number you can call in order to speak to someone which raises another red flag.”
“This company advertises for "online English tuition teachers"
But claims to be a service that offers tuition in every National Curriculum subject....
If you are here, it's because of the advert to "teach English online"
Look at this, from their site:
"Although we launched in 2021, we have quickly earn a reputation for dramatically improving our students grades and class performance."
Note: "earn" instead of "earned"
And "students", instead of "students' "
(The apostrophe does matter)
And this:
"We know that eudtcation is fundamental.."
A company geared towards education can't even spell "education" !!🤷♂️
And:
"Just 20 minutes in the average time it takes people to find and connect with an online tutor or specialist online English teacher. Wherever you need help with one single thing or need longer lessons on a weekly basis, we are here to help you."
Note: "in" instead of "is"
And "wherever" instead of "whether"
And the poor phrasing...
And this:
"Aret you looking for an Online English Teacher?"
Although the company claims tuition in every subject, it's geared towards advertising for "online English teachers"🤷♂️
I posed as a client looking for tuition
Zero response
I emailed "Ella" offering to point out the grammatical and spelling errors....and got an "automated" (and rather terse) response saying she was on "annual leave"🙄
Goodness knows what this company is up to, but you are wasting your time here....
If they had written their website info with "Word" they could have looked half credible....”
