“I ordered a trailer hitch for a BMW X3 several days before I had to have it. It arrived and was the wrong one. By this time I was up against a deadline to get the hitch installed for our trip. I called and had them send the right hitch and had to pay $200 to expedite the shipment overnight. The next day they tell me they closed their warehouse early for a party and my shipment didn’t go out. Now I wont get it until Saturday and cant get it installed until Monday. This ruins our plans. I dont know why they charged me $200 to expedite knowing I had to have it the next day and then didnt ship it. I would NOT do business with this company. If you are looking or a trailer hitch look elsewhere.”

“I ordered from Canada. My package of a roof vent cover & light took 18 days to get here and Canada Post wants $24.73 in custom duties. I can return my order but etrailer will deduct the shipping costs from my money back.”
“etrailer sent me a part that was the wrong size. I asked to return it and buy the right size. They wanted to charge me shipping in the amount that was 45% of the price I bought it for and a possible re-stocking fee. This company is a joke! beware and do not buy from them.”
“Ordering was easy. I got a roof rack and a shade for my truck. It was several months before I got around to putting the shade on my truck. When I tried to install the shade I discovered I was missing all the hardware. I contacted etrailer about it and they shoved some policies in my face. The hardware costs over $150 and my shade is unusable without it.
If everything goes smooth then this is a great online retailer. But, if you have anything go sideways they are completely worthless.
