I've had an awful experience with Evans Cycles. I ordered 2 black specialized cage bottles that were on offer for £23 to be delivered. Two weeks after I placed the order, no delivery and then an email giving me a refund. No explanation. The 2 bottle cages are still available on the website, but the offer has expired. Waited for 20 mins on the phone to customer services. No response. Terrible customer service. Use another company.

I’ve been waiting for a refund of £170 since the 20th of November, the customer service team is extremely unhelpful and haven’t responded to any of my messages in over a week. They ask for a denial of recipt form but claim the signature is not sufficient despite me sending roughly 6 options at this point including options they previously said would be sufficient.

In order to get my refund they want me to print of a form sign in, scan it and send it back to them, apparently no other form of signature is good enough, I’ve made them aware I don’t have access to a printer or a scanner but they don’t really seem to care and are happy enough to keep my money for products I never received.

Had to made to wait 3 weeks for a refund! Seeked consumer advice and emailed Evans and all replies were false promises, basically lying until the 3rd email i eventually received a refund without any explanation or sorry! With this kind of service it’s no wonder that Evans is going out of busy with major financial losses! Customer support is more like a circus act than a service that can actually help! Brought 2 pairs of shoes online, email confirmation was wrong size, couldn’t change details as the account/order didn’t exist, couldn’t do nothing until they got returned from a click & collect which took 2 weeks instead of 2-5 days! Shameful service/business/sales & disgraceful image that’s reflected as a leading bicycle business in the U.

You are repeatedly promised that you will receive an update within 48 hours which you never do, and then if all end fails, they say that as a consumer you can ask for a refund after 30 days.

Apparently I cannot cancel my order, nor can I get a refund of the delivery charge.

I am only glad I demanded a refund of the silver service in store, but informed them I hold them responsible for the damage caused.

Absolutely awful customer service. Still no bike. I don’t trust them to issue a refund if I return accessories and cancel order. Stuck waiting. Will never use again. Business is going down the pan.

We ordered an £800 bike in November 2022, it was never delivered, they declared it was "lost" and cancelled the order. They promised a refund within 3-5 working days. Nothing happened. The most recent promise from Customer Services was on March 13th, saying it would be paid by BACS within 7 days. Now on 18 days and no refund. Have emailed, phoned, visited the shop, no action except empty promises. £800+
