“Terrible service. Product delivered was faulty. Was asked if I was using the correct screw, which of course I was. I was then asked to intentionally damage the product and then attempt to repair the issue myself. After saying I wanted a refund, I was told they would pick up on Wednesday (no date provided). The email was sent on a Tuesday so I left it outside. No one turned up. Finally someone showed up Monday, without any notice, to pick it up. All in all took about 4 weeks to get my money back. Strongly recommend only shopping in store and never online with this place.”

They will sell you items they know they don't have in stock, don't tell you they don't have in stock, when you ring them after the 2 weeks delivery window expired they then tell you another 2 weeks it might arrive. No apology, no explanation.

“Worst customer service, been waiting for a bed base . No response from online been on hold for an hour , no one replies second day in a row . Rang a store nice girl helped her name is Eliza at Slacks Creek , unfortunately still no base and still no communication. Could give zero stars if they had it . Please do not buy online , go to a store where you can ask questions and get at least a person to tell your gripes to .”
“Buyer beware. They don’t care. Says online they will call so you can arrange a delivery day. Instead they organised delivery without any communication and dumped a bed in the open air on a day I wasn’t even there. Called and spoke to them they said not us it’s the delivery company. Their staff need training in giving a heck. Forget them.”
“This would be zero stars. Atrocious customer service who just palms you off with non-answers. First it was Shereen and then Mary who were condescending and just downright unhelpful. Not only do customer service not answer product questions, but my wardrobe was also delivered damaged. The delivery driver asked me to carry things up to the apartment (I refused as I have an injury, hence paying for delivery) and now Mary is not only unhelpful in escalating matters, but she is just plain rude. I am well within my rights under Australian Consumer Law to request a partial refund for the damaged product and lack of service and ask that my matter be escalated. I requested a reasonable partial refund instead of a whole replacement as I was concerned about the environmental factors of them throwing out this product and sending a new wardrobe. In regards to the product itself, you're much better off buying IKEA for ease of assembly and quality of materials, design and packaging.”
“This is a long review and is my experience and 100% truthful from my point of view. Okay i ordered a sofa bed as an emergency measure as I was moving and the bed with my deals was taking too long with this hunter express delivery company (who both have their own reviews about th situation). I chose fantastic furniture as they have a store front and I thought they use their own people. Turned out they also use hunter express for the things in the online store.
I called fantastic furniture Artarmon store and cancelled it with little hassle and i got another couch ordered and paid for one they had in the warehouse so they could deliver it 2 days later with their own people. Which was nice and I was so happy at this point things were going smoothly. I was told fantastic furniture had spoken to hunter express and it would go back and not come here. They said they could not refund me until the couch was back in their warehouse which I am not arguing.
It didn't happen this way and while I was at work on an afternoon shift hunter express bought it to my house and yelled at my boyfriend about having other deliveries, refusing to take it back. My boyfriend tried to ring fantastic furniture to try and have it taken back. I had a previous conversation earlier in the week with the Artarmon store as I had text messages from hunter express saying my deliver was coming within a few days as I read google reviews that showed a theme of hunter express doing this and voiced my concern. I was advised for either of us to ring should this occur. He got through to 3 different people with fantastic furniture from midday when it was delivered and was told noone he spoke to had any understanding of what was going on and they would call him back. They didn't. They chose to call me 5 minutes before closing that day and I was at work not seeing it until and hour after closing. It stayed outside all night which was anxiety riddled for me as it could have been broken or stolen and we wrapped it in a tarpolen just to be safe but every little noise outside woke me up.
Ispoke to a lady on facebook as I cancelled work the following day to ensure it was taken away. I spoke with the manager claire and complained about my experience thinking it was over however it was not. Fantastic furniture said they would refund once they got the sofa bed back but that didn't happen until I asked and showed screenshots of emails stating this. The facebook page monitor claimed she had done it but it had been 8 business days and no money at that point so i asked questions. They tried to blame the pandemic and also the bank for the delays. I called the bank im with westpac and the lady i spoke with explained unless it was done by a cheque if they sent it it should be returned however 10 business days is what they have by law and to wait the extra 2 before lodging with fair trading. She said everyone wants to blaim the bank and had they done it I should have it already and from her persepective it is because places just do not want to pay. I got my refund on day 10 so I did not take it further. Bad experience and poor service all the way through. I won't be using them again and now warn people sharing my experience when they say they need funiture!!! This was far from a fantastic experience and I hope they improve in future.”
