“These people in the beginning were very responsive. Once we sent the drive to them we never heard back from them and called them multiple times. Finally I called and they said the guy was on vacation. Do not send any drive to this company as they are frauds in my opinion, and a waste of time only seek a reputable company because they are not one of them.”
“Do not sent any of your equipment for recovery to these people!!!! I sent an external drive with over 10 years of video and photos on. I talked with Adam Bievenue, who is very skilled as a backlot used car salesman, who quoted me a price of between $600 & $800 for recovery. I explained I had had an evaluation by another company who stated the Plates were very damaged and would be difficult to recover most of the data. Wanting a second opinion I sent it to Fields Data Recovery. After the hard drive was opened Adam called & told me the plates were in good condition and with their advanced equipment and expert techs there was a great chance of a successful recovery. I told him I would think about it then he stated they should be able to do it for $200-$400. In the next conversation Adam explained special parts were needed and the price would be $1984.12 non refundable. I was hesitant but let Adam con me into believing most data could be recovered as again he stated the plates were good and all that was needed was a new head. I fell for his con and sent the money. What I received was 47 photos of the thousand that were on the hard drive. I protested and requested a refund. I received an email from Ruth Holt stating the plates were damaged when they received them and that was all they could retrieve. (Adam Lied to me) It did no good to go to the BBB as they are an advocate for the company that pay them to be a member. (Check out, “is BBB a scam,” on youtube). The only proof I have of the scam is the phone conversation, which Ruth informed they had recorded but has refused to send me a copy. They will someday answer for their scams.”
