“I recently had a frustrating experience with this garage, which feels more like a call centre focused on sales rather than a proper garage. I took my car in to replace a battery (which I supplied) and asked them to diagnose fault codes related to water in fuel, parking sensors, and the DPF, which hadn't cleared after a DPF replacement.
They replaced the battery but didn’t diagnose the fault codes as requested. On top of that, they tried to charge me £240 for fitting the battery, with £171 of that for testing a battery I had already confirmed as not working.
They also quoted £2,000 for additional repairs I didn’t ask for. After a difficult discussion, they reduced the charge to £48 for removing a bolt, fitting the battery, and clearing the codes, which reappeared anyway.
If you’re looking for straightforward service, I’d suggest avoiding this garage.”
