“very helpful whatsapp conversation about sizing before I bought dress, which then fitted perfectly and is lovely. I can also vouch for its washability; on its first outing a waiter decided it would look better with a whole lot of gravy down the back. Hand washed lukewarm this came out fine. I would buy from here again for sure!”

“Very nice and helpful service, and a beautiful dress. However, I did find that the sizing runs rather small (especially if one wishes for the more baggy silhouette so characteristic of the 1920s). I am normally a size 12-14 and the size 14 was tight on the hips and legs. However, Gatsbylady was extremely helpful and professional about the return, and the new size 16 dress is beautiful and fits perfectly.”

“Beautiful, high-quality clothing with even better customer service! I needed a dress for a 1920's theme Christmas Party and spent countless hours searching the Internet - Gatsbylady to the rescue. Not only did I find the perfect dress, but when I mistakenly ordered the wrong size, Gatsbylady rushed the order (overseas to the U.S. no less) overnight at their expense so I had the dress in time for the party. Thank you Gatsbylady! You saved the day!”

“I ordered a dress with a bolero from the UK. The delivery was very fast as express (20 Pounds on top) but my fault as I was very late. I received within 2 days delivery from UK to Germany. The quality of the dress was not what I expected, but much above. The costs were, I admit, not low, for both I paid around 280 Euro but this was the money more than worth. I can only highly recommend the service and the high quality. Thank you.”

“Absolutely thrilled with the dresses that I ordered for myself and my daughter for her forthcoming 30th Birthday Great Gatsby Party. Great quality and exceptionally good service. I originally ordered myself one size but then wanted to try a smaller size. I was told that if I needed a couple of extra days than the normal return date there would be no problem. As it happened I didn't need to return it because I took it to work to show my colleagues and one of them was so impressed with it that she bought it from me there and then and wore it to her husband's Christmas do the following Saturday. She loved it!! Will certainly recommend your website and we're all happy that we have dresses that are timeless. Thank you”

“I don't normally write online reviews (apart from on TripAdvisor), but I had such a positive overall experience with Gatsbylady that I felt compelled to write something for the benefit of the company and future shoppers. I was in need of a flapper dress for a roaring 20's holiday party that I decided to attend with one week's notice. I live in the U.S. and was having a lot of trouble figuring out where to get a nice dress quickly at a reasonable price. I finally concluded that I would either buy from an online store that I found located in California or buy from Gatsbylady. The quality seemed higher and the price lower at Gastbylady, and they were offering a shipping deal that seemed amazing, so I took a risk and placed my order on a Monday afternoon. My dress and accessories arrived in the most neatly packaged box on Wednesday morning, just as promised. The dress was even more beautiful than I was expecting, and I was so thrilled with it and the accessories that I wore it around my apartment for several hours. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun and enjoyment from a purchase. I also really appreciated how efficient and friendly the customer service was when I emailed them a question about the expected shipping time for my purchase. I am hoping to buy one dress a year from them, until I run out of options. That is how great they are!”
