Then to add insult to injury they did not refund me for my existing policy as that would cover my cancellation fee.

My wife had a car insured with them, she sold the car and asked for a refund on the insurance paid out, first they changed a £60 admin fee for this service then they said they would transfer the £30 owing to our account, this didn’t happen, rang again cheque in the post didn’t happen, so last resort got in touch with the financial regulator.

I phoned and asked how does it happen that I pay for one twice? They apologized for the inconvenience and promised to refund me within 7 days, believe me it's 25th day now I am following up twice or thrice a week they keep saying they'll get back to me but don't.

They promised to rectify their mistakes and the manager promised me he has immediately done a refund and the money will reflect on the 31st in my account.

Raising a premium for no reason after 1 year no claims during a pandemic, says it all really. You did refund the difference from a cheaper quote, I suppose I should be grateful. God help if I’m ever in a accident. Other than that had no problems. Genuine customer service advisers SO FAR.

Without any notification from my previous insurer, O2, my car insurance was automatically renewed and full payment was taken from my account, which was at least 60% more than it should of been! Contacted Budget the same day and was assured my insurance had been cancelled and I would receive a full refund.

Charged £150 to change address having recently moved on my van insurance. The address I moved to has zero crime locally and my house insurers gave me a refund as a better post code. My car insurers did it for free. So how can they justify a fee of £150 for my van and the only good news was a further admin fee was waived. I will not be renewing as they will only pull my pants down the once!
