In January 2016 I was involved in an RTA. I called my insurer Quick-Sure, who on their website and phone line claim to be one of the "UKs leading insurers". They dispatched a recovery vehicle and took my car to one of its approved garages for repair. This is where the fun begins: I was provided with 2 Audatec reports stating that my vehicle was a Category C economic write-off. The reports were based upon pictures taken of my car at the scarp yard. Quick-Sure openly admitted that no person had physically inspected my vehicle, and that the reports were based on the 6 pictures taken. I also disputed the validity of the report based upon the so-called engineer having no actual engineering qualifications except: "AFFILIATE (AFFIMI) – ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTION 2016/17 (FROM APRIL 2016) £43.00 Those committed to pursuing a career in the retail automotive industry who don't yet have the experience or qualifications to join IMI as a full member, are welcome to join as an Affiliate. You'll have access to member benefits, information and training, and can upgrade to full membership status as you gain experience and qualifications." Turns out their engineer bought the letters after his name for £45 on the internet. Great. So having been left with no recourse except to accept their offer, I bit the bullet and took the pay-out. 12 months down the line I get a hand written letter through my front door from the new owner of the vehicle asking me for the keys and logbook. Turns out he had taxed and insured the vehicle using the MOT I purchased BEFORE my RTA I had 2 HPI checks done on the vehicle to confirm it had been taxed and insured using my MOT - it had. It also had no markers relating to Category C or ever having been involved in an RTA of any kind. Alarms bells are ringing - strange and suspicious. I then called the DVLA. Not only had the vehicle been repaired and sold on, it HAD NEVER BEEN REGISTERED WITH THE DVLA AS A CATEGORY C ECONOMIC WRITE OFF. I was told explicitly by the DVLA that this was the insurance companies responsibility and was obviously against the law. I have now reported this company to Trading Standards, HMRC and the Insurance Ombudsman. I also have an open case against them with the DVLA "Sensitive Casework Department" regarding Auto-Motive Insurance Fraud. After repeatedly making Quick-Sure aware of their complicity in Auto-Motive Insurance Fraud they stopped returning my phone calls and emails. People there will either deny all knowledge of the situation, claim they cannot help because they can't access the files, tell you they have forwarded it on to another department, etc, etc - essentially anything to get you off the phone at that given moment. Which is why I took to sending emails (as they are legally binding documents you can refer to in court) suddenly emails addresses disappear, people no longer work there, mail service returns sent messages due to spam. Eventually I reported the matter to the Police and I am currently beginning to build a case to litigate against them in Court. These people are unscrupulous, liars and fraudsters. (taken from their website) Quick-Sure Insurance PLC are: REGULATED BY THE FINANCIAL SERVICES COMMISSION IN GIBRALTAR. REGULATED BY THE CENTRAL BANK OF IRELAND FOR CONDUCT OF BUSINESS RULES. SUBJECT TO LIMITED REGULATION BY THE FINANCIAL CONDUCT AUTHORITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. REGISTERED IN GIBRALTAR NO. 87580 I have reported them to HMRC, Trading Standards The Police, The Insurance Ombudsman and the DVLA. I would not under any circumstances purchase insurance from this company.

If I could give no stars I would. Please never ever get insured with this company. Your wasting your money. Yeah your covered if you get pulled but if you crash your fault/other drivers fault or weather then your in a pickle and will get nothing. They will cancel your policy without telling you and there's nothing you can do. Please please do not use this company unless your loaded and can buy a car again n get a whole new insured policy!!

DONT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE! bought a one month learner driver policy, 2 days later my car developed a major mechanical fault and would be off the road for 4 weeks, called to cancel the policy and was charged £45 cancellation fee, even though this was during the cancellation period, and I was a returning customer. The customer service is no service at all, if you complain they just hang up, shocking!

BEWAYE of this insurance company. They cancelled insurance without knowledge and now the premium has gone sky high just because this cancellation has to be declared while applying for new insurance with other providers. This company does not even deserve any star. And plus they have not even refunded the money.

If I could've gave them no stars they'd still owe me a star . Absolutely disgusted they cancelled my policy after taking first payment of £310.82 then the 1st months payment . Also I have never received any policy documentation either by email or post or carrier pigeon. And they've cancelled my policy over a week ago and I've been driving my car to work and taking my 4 year old daughter to and from school without knowing I wasn't insured. They hung up on me 3 times when questioned about the company morals . Stay away from these cowboys now I'm nearly £400 out of pocket and have no insurance . So thanks not only for causing distress and alarm once I'd found out . I also have to take time off work due to not being able to get there it's 60 mile away . Oh and I can't go to see my daughter for my contact arrangements. I hope you're proud of your poor working ethics.

Avoid like the plague. Three weeks to refund a policy and still waiting - certainly didn't wait that long to debit the card originally. Pay peanuts and you get monkeys. You are better off paying more and sticking with an actual company.

When changing my vehicle on policy I rang up and they said I have to do it myself stating they don't have authorisation or some nonense like that. So I changed it and wanted to make payment over the phone and they tried telling me I have to do it online. I told them I have no computer and magically then they are then able to take payment over phone. So they lied initially by saying they cannot take payment over phone . Bunch of scammers avoid at all cost

STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased learner driver insurance for my son. My son's driving test was on 11th July, as he was using the insured vehicle for the test, I was advised by the test centre that I should check that the policy covers the test itself. I called Quick sure on the morning of the test, it took so long to get through I emailed them in the meantime to ask the question. When I eventually got an answer on the phone, to my shock was told that the policy does not cover the test itself ?! I was astounded as surely the whole point of learning to drive is to take a test at the end of it? As the test was that day, I had no choice but to purchase another policy with another provider, at an additional cost. Later that day Quick sure emailed me back to advise that the policy does in fact cover the test! I had purchased a policy I did not need. I wrote to Quick sure customer services to complain on 11th July, and I have not had any response. I spoke to them today about it, they completely passed the buck saying that that customer services at the time of my complaint not longer has the contract, and they have offered no resolution. I am now referring this to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

This company must have two people working there maximum. The same person answers the phone and emails...of which you have to WAIT...and I mean WAIT. Now after my first year they've said they can't offer me a renewal price as I'm under the age of 36 and have a FULL driving licence?! What kind of criteria is that? So off to Diamond I go, almost same price and much better service. BEWARE.

I took out learner insurance for a few days and then had to cancel due to circumstances. Paid the 102 deposit but had to cancel its. I rang twice only to be cut off the phone. I then email and they said I would receive £38 by the 31-07-2016 which has now come and gone. I managed to get through to be told it would be longer. I would have had no problem with that but why tell me the 31st? When I was using that money to pay a bill.
