“Towergate are happy to say anything to get your money. I am sure if you called and said you had a shed on the moon which is full of sky hooks, long weights, tartan paint etc that needed insuring Towergate would say O yes we can do that. Then when you need to claim they just say O the person who told you that was wrong and they no longer work for us. Lesson; get everything EVERYTHING in writing and expect to be put through to the how to avoid paying a claim department if ever you are unfortunate enough to need to make a claim. Before anyone thinks they are no worse than any other insurer try calling the claims number and see if you can get through - then try the sales line which will be answered in seconds!”
