“Pro: Gorgeous selection of cross-stitch patterns.
Con: The seller failed to relay vital instructions about finalizing my order, sent me an order confirmation that indicated no additional action was needed, and then failed to deliver the product as a result. Be wary if you purchase from them.
Details: I placed an order for a cross-stitch pattern in October of 2021 and received an order confirmation email that provided an order number, order details and stated:
"Your order has been placed and is now in the process of being made. All products are made to order so it may take a little while before we are able to ship but as soon as its ready we will send you an email to let you know it's on its way."
In January of 2022, I had received no such email and contacted the company to check the order status. I was informed that:
"We don't see an order for you I'm afraid, all we see is you paid for the non refundable reserved listing and never fulfilled your order for the full kit using the link attached to the email you just responded from.
Once the reserved listing is purchased you have 14 days to finalize the payment for the rest of the kit or the kit is no longer available which was stated in the listing description.
Should you still wish to purchase the kit you will have to wait for its official release in the next few months I'm afraid."
The listing is now gone, so there's no way to verify if it did indeed specify that I had to take additional steps to fulfill the order. However, there was absolutely NO MENTION of any additional steps that needed to be taken in the order confirmation email. There was a link in the order description to the full listing, but there were NO INSTRUCTIONS stating that I had to click on that link within 14 days to finalize my order. The email very clearly indicated that the order was complete and that all I needed to do was wait for them to contact me when it was being shipped.”
