“Really disappointed with my recent experience with Gee Hair.
This is now my third set of extensions from them. My previous set was great, which is why I ordered again for an upcoming event. Unfortunately, the latest set arrived with visible black dots throughout the hair, up to several centimetres from the ends, making them clearly poor quality and not wearable. I contacted customer service straight away and sent multiple photos and videos. After several days of back-and-forth while they “reviewed with management”, the resolution offered was a £10 goodwill refund for hair that is clearly not acceptable quality. If I don’t accept the £10, the only other option I was given is to return the hair at my own cost so they can “assess” it, which is frustrating considering the fault was present on arrival and already documented with photos and videos. I ordered well in advance to avoid stress before my event, but instead I’ve spent days chasing responses and am now less than a week away from the event needing to find replacement extensions last minute because the ones sent are not usable. Very disappointing experience, especially as a returning customer purchasing my third set from the brand.”
“I would not recommend buying from Gee hair. I had a bad experience with them. They are very overpriced for what they provide in my opinion and the customer service does not take into consideration the buyer's concerns. I feel that customer care and satisfaction is not a priority for them.”
“This company repeatedly flagged my reviews on other plaforms as defamatory to get them removed! Which makes me wonder how many times they have done this to other people's honest reviews about a poor experience.
I had the same experience as others where the volumizer added zero volume to my fine hair.
If you look at the model on the website there is a disclaimer in small writing saying that the model is wearing extra hair pieces. In my opinion this is very misleading and while there is a disclaimer it's just not ethical (in my opinion).
The customer service has been terrible and they refuse to take accountability for their poor product and service. How come the brand ClipHair can make excellent extensions where you only need one track and its volumises your hair massively but Gee can't? They also told me my hair must be thicker so that is the reason their thin hair piece did not work. Although it may not have been their intention this made me feel as though the blame was being placed on me. Another reason I do not recommend this brand. They cannot take responsibility for themselves or the fact that their product failed to do what was advertised, it is my interpretation that they are implying it is my fault their product wasn't able to add volume. This is just my opinion and not a statement of fact.
It is my personal opinion that unless you have extreme hair loss due to a medical condition, chemotherapy or alopecia I do not recommend the volumizer from Gee. Or the brand as a whole. Awful experience and handling of an unhappy customer. What a world we live in where companies can just get bad reviews taken down when they are true. Of course opinion is subjective but if I had left a good review then my opinion would've been accepted and the review left up. I am appalled.”
“Terrible service bad company !! Sent an empty box … I sent them proof to show nothing was added and the box was still sealed .. yet they claim quality control did add it and I’m making it up ! Two weeks since I sent an initial email and still no resolution”
“I recently ordered the One Piece Volumizer 50g from Gee, and I must say I am extremely disappointed with the product. Contrary to the impressive appearance it has on social media, the actual piece is so thin that it's practically unusable.
The advertising gave me high hopes for a thick, voluminous addition to my hair, but the reality fell far short. The volumizer did not provide any noticeable improvement, and it was a waste of money for me. Additionally, I was offered £10 back in exchange for a positive review, which feels like an attempt to buy good ratings rather than earn them through quality products.
I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for genuine hair volume solutions. Save your money and look for something with more honest advertising.
