“I took car insurance out with Skippy and they are not very helpful..Very rude..Passed me here there and everywhere..Spent 2 days on hold... I have cancelled my insurance and to top it all only had insurance for about 18 hours!!! And had to pay cancellation fee..I am disgusted the way they spoke to me...NO RESPECT AT ALL????????”

“ur site showed me a nice offer . i have bought the policy and after 1 h i got a phone call that on web site was something wrong and my policy will be cancelled or moved to a new ona what was over 500 pounds more expencive. I wasnt happy and i sand i dont want it. Now they charging me for canceletion of the policy even if it wasnt my fault !! I WILL NEVER USE GO COMPARE ANYMORE !!! Also will tell to as many ppl as possible about it. Also they told me i must wait 5-7 working days to get my money back ! This is a robbery with cancellation fee and now they will use my money for 5-7 days b4 they return. thinking to go to ombudsmans !”

“All comparisons sites are same, they must make deal with certain insurers, every site I visited game me quotes from same insurers and similar price, my advise shop around well in advance if your renewal or you will be pushed against the wall to buy for only one company, as that will be the cheapest. Plus there is no where to stop automatic renewal very frustrating”

“When I went to purchase my car insurance, based on the quote given just two days before, the insurance premium had jumped from £322 to £404, basically a 25% increase. And when I queried this with Hastings direct, I was told it was due to live market data fluctuations, yeah right !!!”
