“after completing online form it still took 40 minutes of phone call to be told info put online had not been passed to insurance companies ,and to make matters worse it would only allow me to edit part of the information i supplied. is it possible to retrive my details or deliete them as i wont be trust any online companies in the future.”

“When I cancelled my car insurance policy after 2 months I was charged 50 pounds broker fee (plus 50 pounds from go skippy as a cancellation charge) coupled with the 60 pounds of used cover for the two months I lost 170 pounds of the 375 pound policy for just 11 weeks use! None of this was transparent I won't be using the go compare service again for buying car insurance as I won't want to pay their 50 pounds broker fee if I have to cancel”

“Spent 30 mins on line and found site excellent but let down badly by my choice of companies to insure with! Another 40 mins was spent with the said company going through all the information that I had just supplied, but 40 mins?? on a barely inaudible phone line? They took a 1st payment and then said some would call back again to sort out the direct debit, in the meantime I have 2 follow up calls from the same company asking if I had made a decision, then another inaudable call to go through all details again, I said this was crazy and I did'nt have time, so operater asked if I wanted to cancel so I did, and he said the deposit would be returned, but heard nothing, I am left speechless! --Andrew Haworth 07860 713971”

“i did not receive my online quote and when called them they doubled the price stating my criteria changed. absolute lies and didn't want me to purchase because they deemed it to low.”

“I was totally disgusted and appalled with the experience I had with performance cars who gave me a motor insurance quote on your site. I was happy with the quote they gave me so paid the deposit as requested and took out the policy. Ten minutes later I received a phone call asking me if I could discuss the policy in more detail then they explained to me that this policy would not cover commuting to a place of work and back. So I explained this policy was not suitable for me to which they replied would you like to cancel the policy after relying yes they said it would not be possible to give me my deposit of £46 back. And I am still hounded now by direct debit mandates for such a good website like yours I feel this company is just there to rip people off.”
