“Pad Thai is the bomb. It is my go to meal for the night I head into town for resupply...sort of a treat after several days of Knorr sides and ramen bombs.”
“Great quality ingredients, but taste ranges from excellent to poor. I loved the Herbed Mushroom Risotto (maybe the best hiking food I have ever bought!) but I did not like the chipotle/cayenne pepper flavor of the three bean chili at all. I was expecting to love the chili because it is my favorite food and I have hardly ever met a chili that I didn't like. Overall, I would still recommend Good-to-Go products but definitely recommend trying the flavor before buying in bulk.”
“My favorite brand of backpacking food. I like that I can read all the ingredients (no funny preservatives, etc). I do wish their spicy options were a bit less spicy though,”
“Thought the ingredients were more healthy and that’s why we purchased good to go! I ordered 60 meals. Have you thought as a company of creating organic meals with real ingredients like you’re doing now? Would it be Cost prohibitive? Also can you Put the meals in bags that would increase the shelf life? I know a lot of people that would really respond if you had organic meals with a long shelf life!! Thanks!”
“Great way for us to get into thru hiking the Long Trail in Vermont with minimal fuss. Was easy for the two of us to have dinner ready after longer than expected days on the trail. Especially easy when it was raining or after dark. Really like that the sodium is lower than other backpacking meals.”
“Great service! For the most part, the food is great, so I would say a 4.25 out of 5 stars, so I rounded down to 4. The Chili and corn chowder are OK. Easy to add some better flavoring to the chili. The corn chowder has too much for spices. The Risotto is the favorite of my wife and I. Still have not tried all the foods yet - but anxious to work our way through the rest. Keep up the great work!”
“The chicken gumbo was good. I didnt expect it to be so spicey. When out in the wilderness I would prefer meals that didnt require an urge to drink even more..”
