“The best gourmet meals for hiking, backpacking, or for quick any easy meal after a long exhausting day of work.No matter the reason Good To-Go provides enjoyable dining experiences.”
“I discovered Good To-Go on a backpacking trip with some lady friends. We were deep in the backcountry and I was intrigued by the Good To-Gos that my friends were enjoying. Among the varieties on that first encounter were the: Mexican Quinoa Bowl, Bimipap, and Pad Thai- I was hooked! Back at home resting my tired legs while on my couch after a long trip back home, I took it upon myself to order the full sampler Thru Hiker Food kit. What a great decision. Since then I have used Good To-Gos on self-support kayak trips, backpacking trips, and plan to use them continually for my nutritional needs anytime I am away from the convenience of a full kitchen. There is never a need to settle for less than incredible in the backcountry.”
“Sending meals to my son and his girlfriend thru hiking the CDT. They love getting them - it’s a welcome reprieve from ramen and tortillas. They particularly love the pho and the Cuban rice bowl, but all are delicious and highly anticipated. Two thumbs up from experienced long trail hikers!”
“It was nice to find a good freeze dried food. That is made well. High-quality ingredients. I wish they would make more comforting foods. Like chicken noodle soup. Beef stew. Or even chicken and rice. More simple less spices.”
“I’m a reluctant hiker, but I felt like I needed to go hiking with my buddies. This type of food on a backpack trip was a lifesaver for someone who desires to eat healthy foods. I especially liked the quinoa meal pack. I felt energetic and my body responded well to the meals! Way to go!”
“I really enjoyed everything I got and while I maybe thought that some of the meals slightly lacked some salt (not the sodium levels, but the seasoning taste), the Thai Curry was the best backpacking meal I’ve ever had. It was so good. I think I’ll buy some just to have on hand at home. If you haven’t had it, do yourself a favor and order a 2-serving bag. My only regret on trail was that I only had a single serving.”
“I loved all seven of the gluten free and vegetarian and/or vegan meals I brought and tried on my last trip. It's terrific that I can pack food that is lightweight, cost-effective, easy to prepare, and that I know will be safe for my dietary restrictions. The only thing I wished for was more salt! I need to add either salt or cheese to every meal to fully bring out the flavors. The folks I met along the way in my travels who were familiar with Good to Go were enthusiastic in their reviews, but also agreed on this. Otherwise, the food flavor and quality were great!”
“Tried Good To-Go on a backpacking trip on the Washington Olympic Peninsula! I have a lot of food sensitivities and keep a strict diet due to CKD. Often, backpacking food has a lot of salt and preservatives, and I'll have problems with edema and headaches on my trips. This was a great alternative, and I had no adverse reactions after two days. Thank you!”
“I love Good to Go meals. They are nourishing and satisfying. But best of all, they really taste good. I just came back from a backpacking trip with Good to Go meals and have a supply in my pantry for future trips. You won't be disappointed!”
