“The camera has a limited battery life, even with the add-on battery. For an underwater camera (with the waterproof case), it's good. But for a skier or any other sport where you're moving quickly, it's useless. I've long since given up using my GoPro.
I recently went scuba diving and tried downloading the videos the guide took with her GoPro. However this cannot be done unless you have a paid subscription with GoPro. (I confirmed this with GoPro). In fact, if you don't have a GoPro, they don't even want to hear from you: the 'Contact Us' form on their website requires the model and serial number of your GoPro.”
