Refund - Difficult

Eventually, they closed my case offering only two unacceptable options: A full refund, or To pay the massive fare difference to “upgrade” back to the Business Class I had already booked and paid for.

I had a problem with a Seating. They contacted me and told me that it was an error from the system, and that I will get the refund. But 2 weeks later, they closed the case. And now If I write them back, I get an automatic reply, that I need to fill out a form. If I fill out the form, some worker tells me to write an email, but they don't tell me where. So I cannot contact them. Only if I Call to the US which costs me a lot of money.

Given the circumstances, I reached out to Gotogate to explain the situation and asked if I could receive a refund, credit, or even partial reimbursement—anything that showed basic human decency and understanding.

Do not use Gotogate. It has been over six weeks since I requested a refund, and I still haven’t received my money. Despite multiple follow-ups, there has been no clear update or resolution. The delay is completely unacceptable, and their lack of communication shows a total disregard for customer service.

Cancelled flights. Nearly 3 months on, still haven't got refund. Diabolical service, avoid this company at all costs, full of excuses for not paying out.

Gtg failed to book seats blamed everyone else but them selves...refund issued but no apology, told to sort my own seating reservation out with airline.... Be warned and insincere customer service and a deny all company

Instead of offering an effective solution or a fair refund, both companies simply adhered to rigid policies that clearly favor the airline and not the customer.
